Hello Lovers of nature

Welcome to another episode of LOVERS OF NATURE THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY PART 5. From the last post(part 4), I mentioned that I will be sharing more of last year's snaps and today, I have an exceptional picture to share with you, guys.

Today's display picture is a lovely GREEN BEAUTY. The picture is a snapshot of branches of different species of trees which serve as shades from the direct sunlight in the school park( my school). Sharing this exceptional picture brings to life the emotions and happenings of that particular day I took the picture.

That particular day was a sunny and really hectic for me in school. I had no breaks within the day, back-to-back lectures and also a fixed lecture from 3pm - 5pm. So stressed, I went to former law park in second camp, sat down sipping my cool Chapman drink( commonly known as Smoov) and also enjoying the cool breeze from the trees in the park.

My sweaty skin was heavily caressed by the cool breeze and this drew my attention to the trees in the park. The park is dominated with more of mango and umbrella trees. Looking up, I saw the beauty of the branches colliding with each other. Each giving it's own shade of green beauty in their forms, leaves and fruits/flowers makes it extremely gorgeous to stare. 

I was lost in the beauty of the colliding branches for a while and the whole day stress was entirely gone. I felt so relieved from the cool drink to the cool breeze and the lovely sight. Finally, I snapped the amazing view to keep it as a loving memory.

Always remember that everything God created for mankind is extremely beautiful and of great value to us. Always appreciate the beauty of nature and of ourselves as human beings(born of God to be His beloved children).

Hello, Lovers of Nature

 

Welcome back to our exciting series, Lovers of nature through photography. My love for nature expressed through photography got some of my friends enthusiastic about nature and in this episode, I will be sharing an amazing piece snapped by a dear friend, Anthony Agbo with you all. Anthony is my coursemate at Benue State University, Makurdi. We became friends in 100Level and we are still friends in 300Level. I started sharing my nature picture with him and from there he started appreciating nature's beauty. From time to time, he sends me beautiful pieces snapped and edited by him. In this episode is a RED AND GREEN BEAUTY flower already shared in part 10.

 

This beautiful flower called the flame of the woods or jungle flame exists in different colours from red, yellow, pink, and orange. In part 10, I presented the yellow and red colours of the flower and Anthony also got the red one. The red breed of the ornamental plant is most common in Benue State, Nigeria. Below is my own snap.

 

 

 

 

The botanical name is IXORA COCCINEA. The Ixora plant is mostly found in parks, homes, gardens, hospitals or school environments, landscapes, and so on. 

 

The flowers are planted for ornamental purposes and also for medicinal purposes. All parts including flowers, leaves, and roots are taken for various medicinal preparations for skin disease, Diabetes, etc

 

The display picture of today displays the true beauty of the plant after rainfall. The rain naturally aids the growth of plants and its drops on leaves makes a plant looks beautiful in its natural state. The picture could capture the effect of the rain drops on the green leaves of the flowers which makes it looks extremely alluring.
