Checkout Things That Could Drain Your Car Battery
~1.8 mins read
The automobile battery powers the starter, which in turn drives the spark plug, which ignites the fuel in your car. Lighting, radios, air conditioning, and a host of additional equipment are all powered by the battery. In this article, I'll tell you about some of the things that deplete your car battery that many drivers or car owners don't know about, and I hope this helps.

1. Human Error.

According to Mechanicbase, it's likely that you've done this at least once in your life: after a long day at work, when you were exhausted and not really thinking clearly, you drove home and either forgot to turn off the headlights, didn't completely close the trunk, or didn't turn off some of the lights inside the vehicle. Your car won't start the next morning because the battery has depleted overnight. If you forget to turn off your lights, many new automobiles may give you a warning, but there may be no such warnings for other systems.

2. Faulty Charging.

When the charging system fails, the battery drains even when you're driving. During a travel, the battery gets recharged if everything is operating smoothly. A slack belt or a worn-out tensioner can cause the system to cease charging without you even realizing it.

3. Parasitic drain.

There are a variety of elements in your automobile and home that are all controlled by parasitic drain. Even after many days, your battery still has enough juice to keep these items from completely draining the battery. Due to electrical problems and defective fuse, parasitic drain can cause the battery to lose its stored charge.

4. Extreme Temperatures.

Low temperatures (less than ten degrees Fahrenheit) and high temperatures (greater than one hundred degrees Fahrenheit) are particularly hard on batteries. Sulfate buildup in the battery can occur when the weather gets into these places, producing damage that could shorten the battery's lifespan. Extreme temperatures can also reduce the amount of energy stored in the battery.

5. Defective Alternator.

When you start your car, it relies on its battery to power the engine. Your battery, however, relies on the alternator when the vehicle is running. Your battery may not be fully charged if your alternator is malfunctioning, making it difficult to start your car even if you were only driving!

Aeroplane Secrets That Are Never Told To Passengers
~1.2 mins read
Whether you have once taken a flight or not, this article is worth your time because it is written to simply enlighten you on what you have always been struggling to understand. Keep on reading!

Why do planes have blue seats?

The answer to this question has always been a secret but from now, it will no longer be a secret to both of us. Those who have traveled by planes severally must have noticed that the seats and sometimes the interior of planes are blue. Why blue? The answer in layman's language is because the color blue is believed to evoke a feeling of calmness, making traveling less stressful.

Are planes affected by lightning strikes?

This is another question whose answer has remained to be a secret. But the truth is that planes are not affected by lightning. Planes are fitted with a metal gauze that goes through the skin of the plane. This metal is designed to conduct electricity but again prevent it from reaching the interior of the plane at the same time.

How human waste is disposed of.

This has also remained to be a secret to almost all of us (but not you anyway). People believe that the waste is dumped while planes are on the flight. However, there is little evidence to support that. The truth is, all waste is stored in a large tank at the back of the plane. This waste would be cleared from the tank once the plane has landed.
