5 Things You Should Consider Before Getting A New Phone
~1.3 mins read
Smartphones these days have become an integral part of our lives. We use them for communication, taking pictures, saving documents on the cloud, internet browsing etcetera.
But then, with the wide variety of smartphones available in the market it is never easy to decide which one to pick. It is always tough deciding the one that may suit our needs best.
Here's a list of things you should consider before you decide to buy your next smartphone.
1)Build quality :Build is all about durability of a smartphone. The entire handset market is largely divided in two types of builds -- metal and plastic.
There are some that even have glass-coated panels, but those are very limited.
2)Display :The size and resolution of display depends on how you use your smartphone. If you often stream videos, edit photos or videos, or download and view movies, then a smartphone display ranging from 5.5-inch to 6-inch, full-HD or QHD resolution should be good enough for you.
3)processor:The processing power of a smartphone varies from one device to another depending on several factors such as OS version, UI, bloatware and more.
4)camera:Just having higher number of megapixels does not mean that the smartphone camera is better. Several specifications such as camera aperture, ISO levels, pixel size, autofocus and more are essential as well. A 16MP rear camera does not necessarily be better than a 12MP camera. Same theory goes for the front-facing camera.
5)battery life:The battery usage differs from user to user depending on the way he/she uses the smartphone. If you are a heavy user and work on apps, play games, stream videos and more then go for a smartphone with at least 3500mAh battery or above.

Checkout Things You Should Avoid When Charging Your Phone
~1.4 mins read
Regarding this article, we shall consider 5 mistakes most people make while charging their smartphones and the dangers inherent in them.
1. Using a wrong or improvised charger cable.
Using an improvised charger cable that isn’t prescribed by the manufacturer can do some serious damage to its motherboard.
2. Connecting the phone to an extremely high or low electric voltage.
It is always advisable to charge your phone under a moderate electric voltage that is neither too high nor low. Connecting your phone to a faulty electric current might cause it to malfunction, or lead to an explosion in worst cases.
3. Using the smartphone for a heavy or power-consuming task while charging.
Most phone experts usually advise against the practice of using the smartphone while connected to a power source. This can lead to the colliding of the chemical components of the phone due to overheating which might cause the phone to explode in most cases. If there is a need to use the phone for a heavy task like playing games, social media or other time-consuming tasks, it becomes pivotal to unplug it first.
4. Frequent charging habit.
It is good to charge your phone when it has low power, but the habit of constantly charging it even when the battery capacity is above average will damage the battery and the phone in the long run. Most people are fond of charging their phone even when it reduces by one percent, thus; decreasing its life span.
5. Leaving the phone connected to electricity when fully charged.
Leaving the phone still connected to the power source for hours when it is fully charged will destroy the phone gradually. When the phone is left connected to an active power source for a long time after its charging must have been completed, it will lead to overheating of the motherboard and might cause the phone to malfunction or destroy its inner components.
