Starvation walks me up 
                               to listen to my stomach
my daily food is once in a while 
                                the shape of Gari has shown in my eyes 
Hunger has wrecked our homestead
                                 no more fortress in the trees of the land.

Our fence has been broken by the vultures
                                   Our wall has damaged our home
Our roof has become an opening sky 
                                  Our hope comes like a chameleon
we cherish what we see in a dream
                                   not in the reality.

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, is celebrating his wife, Pastor Foluke, on her 74th birthday.

Adeboye popularly called Daddy GO, revealed that his favourite nickname for his wife of many decades is ‘My Original Mummy GO.”

He said, “There are so many names your children call you, but my favorite schoolgirl you remain My Original Mummy GO, the Pioneer of that name, Flag Bearer of the Title and an Emblem of all that it represents, thank you for setting an example that is worthy of emulation.”
