Last week I just got a small job somewhere very far from where my parents live. 

I decided to accept the job and move to another state but problem is that I don't know anyone in my new environment so my dad called one of our Church members that lives here but they couldn't accommodate me. They said they're also having accommodation issues and can't accept me in their house right now.

 

So they called another person who attends a different church and they accepted me. They give me food and everything i need to be comfortable in the house. They welcomed me well. 

 

Problem started on sunday after I begged the man of the house to drive me to my church which he did. 

 

My church is far and I needed him to drive me there which he dropped me without complaining. He offered to come and pick me when I finished by I told him no need, I will find my way back.

 

When they returned from their service, the woman asked me why I couldn't follow them to their own church instead of her husband dropping me, I told her an emphatic no that I have my church and cannot attend another one.

 

Then she said her husband will not drop me there again but problem is the church is too far and no transport from where we live. 

 

I told her that it's only once a week them he will be dropping me. I don't even need him to pick me from church after service, only dropping me. Then those my church members will just bring me back.

 

We got into an argument and I asked why is she the one complaining when her husband is not complaining. She cannot decide for him.

 

She started shouting and she called my church member that introduced me to them saying I was very rude to her and I'm mannerless. And they should come and pick me that she can't live with me.

 

Mind you, her husband that dropped me didn't complain except his wife. The wife is a housewife and the husband is the one buying the fuel to drive but she's the one making trouble. She has a car she can as well use for herself.

They're rich too so they can afford fuel to drop me off just once a week at my church so what is the big deal.

 

Now my church person is angry why I said what I said and I couldn't sleep throughout the night because I don't know where to go. Did I do anything wrong please for insisting I must attend my church? Why is the woman being mean?

I'm 23 years old lady. 

Please what can I do?
