The just concluded conference of the Nigerian Bar Association left so much to be desired. It is a reflection of how impatient we can be as people. Men who are supposedly learned were seen struggling and fighting for bags, destroying booths etc. This singular event make a mess of the wonderful conference.

The same culture is always an ugly sight to behold in wedding ceremony. Invited guests out of impatience are ready to beat up servers in the bid to demolish jollof rice etc.

The same culture makes a lady out of ignorance and desperation go for any man available, now many of them are bitting their fingers in marriage. Marriage to them is a mirage.

The same culture makes a man beat his wife to pulp because his wife delayed in bringing him food.

The same culture makes youth out of desperation get themselves involve in fraudulent activities, ritual killings, and in the process pierced their hearts with many pangs. The get rich quick syndrome.

So many other ugly scenarios which give credence to our abysmal failure in episodes to embrace the amazing, beautiful culture of patience.

Patience is a very important virtue we must all imbibe to win. 

Patience is an evidence of conviction.

When you wait and delay gratification you are actually making a big statement about who you are, your capacity, maturity and how big that which you carry and loaded up with to unleash to the world.

Manifestation without patience is a disaster waiting to happen.

We crave, desire and imagine happy marriage, amazing career, glorious firebrand ministry etc but how willing and ready are we to pay the price of patience?

How ready are we to trust the process even if it tarry?

Success is assured but we must learn to wait!
