Farming is simply the act of cultivation of crops and rearing of animals for the the sole purpose of consumption.

Agricultural production through farming has been the mainstay of many countries of the world. This has helped in feeding hundred of thousands and has also safe human kind from the deadly hands of poverty.

Agriculture, though one of the seemingly difficult practice, has suffered lot of loss in the recent past due to the coming of globalization and industrialization.

Most farm lands have been affected by pollution from industrial effluents and waste of different types. Resultant damage of crops when consumed by humans and animals often leads to most of the modern diseases fighting the human population in the world.

There is need for stringent regulations on the practice of industrialization and other related practices that causes land pollution which in turn affect foods consumed by humans.
