The Fox And The Crow
~1.4 mins read
In this article, I will be sharing with you a very interesting story and at the end of the story you will tell me what you learnt from the story.

The title of my story is the fox and the crow

One bright morning, as the fox was following his sharp nose through the woods in search of a food to eat he saw a crow on the limb of a tree overhead.

This was by no means the first crow the fox had ever seen. What caught his attention this time was that the lucky crow held a piece of cheese in her beak. "No need to search any further" taught sly master fox. "Here is a dainty bite for breakfast".

Up he trooted for the root of the tree in which the crow was sitting and looking up admirably. He cried "Good morning beautiful creature!". The crow head cocked on one side, watched the fox suspiciously. But she kept her beak slightly closed on the cheese and did not accept his greeting.

"What a charming creature she is!" said the fox, "How her feathers shine" What a beautiful form and what splendid wing which a wonderful bird should have a very lovely voice, since everything about her is so perfect. Could she sing just one song, I know I could hail he the queen of birds.

Listening to these flattering words the crow forgot all her suspicions and also her breakfast. She wanted to be called the Queen of Birds. So she opened her mouth to utter her loudest caw and down the cheese fell straight into the Fox's mouth.

"Thank you, "said Master fox sweetly as he walked off". "Though it is cracked, you have a voice sure enough but were are your wits?".

Moral lesson: The flattered lives in expense  of those who will listen to him.

The Hare And The Tortoise
~0.7 mins read
In this article, I will be sharing with you a very short and interesting story and at the end of the story you will tell me what you learnt in the comments section.

The title of my interesting story is the hare and the tortoise.

Once upon a time, there was a tortoise who challenged a hare because he was always bragging about being a fast runner. The overconfident hare accepted the competition and ran as far as it can after the race begins.

Soon the overconfident hare gets tired and decided to take a rest thinking that there was plenty of time to relax, before the slow tortoise could catch up with it, but the tortoise continues to walk slowly until it's reaches the finish line.

The overslept hare woke up only to be shocked that the slow moving tortoise won the race.

Moral lesson: Slow and steady wins the race.
