The title of my story is the fisherman and the little fish.

Once upon a time, there was a fisherman whose livelihood depended on his catch. One day, the fisherman was able to catch only one small fish.

The fish in its desperation to live, said "Please be kind to me sir I am too small and of no use to you, let me back into the river so that I can grow bigger so that you can catch me and make more money."

Then the wise fisherman replied "I will not give up on a certain profit for one that doesn't exist yet". He later took the fish and sold it.

Moral lesson: Do not forgo a certain gain for an uncertain profit".

The title of my short but interesting story is the travelers and the sea:

 Two travelers were walking along the seashore. Far out they saw something riding in the waves.

 "Look" said one "a great ship rides in from desert lands, hearing rich from treasures. The object the travelers saw came ever nearer to the shore.

No, said the other, "that is not a treasure ship, that is some fisherman's skiff with the day's catch of savoury fish".

 Still nearer came the object, the waves washed it up on the shore. "It is a chest of gold lost from one's wreck," they cried. Both travelers rushed to the beach, but they found nothing but a water soaked log.

•Moral lesson: Do not let your hopes carry you away from reality.
