Monday Night Transfer: Man Utd Reach Agreement For Left Back, Kante's Imminent Departure And More.
~3.9 mins read
After having spent a sum of £222m this summer, Chelsea are considering a sale of N'Golo Kante should a suitable bid come in. While Inter Milan have been strongly linked with a move for the French star, Manchester United are also said to be interested in signing Kante.
The report has it that Chelsea could potentially cash in on Kante should any potential suitor be willing to match their £50m price tag for the 29-year-old. The report further adds that the "Nerazzurri" are looking to sign Kante on a season-long loan, which is something that Chelsea are not keen on. Manchester United could capitalise on this situation and make a move for the French star.
Manchester United back up striker Odion Ighalo's loan deal is set to expire soon, and the club will be left without an under-study to Anthony Martial, due to which they are also said to be in the market for another striker. Milik was set to move to Roma to replace the Juventus-bound Edin Dzeko until the player move fell through.
Tottenham Hotspur have been on the look out for a suitable deputy to Harry Kane and earmarked Napoli striker "Arkadiusz Milik" as the ideal target. However, reports from Italy claim that Manchester United are one among the clubs in talks for the Polish international. Speaking on the Napoli star's future, Italian journalist explained;
"An intermediary told me that there’s informal talks with [RB] Leipzig, Manchester City, Manchester United, Fulham and Tottenham [Hotspur]. The latter are the most reliable track, but the formula requested by Napoli does not convince [Jose] Mourinho."
Out-of-favour Manchester United star Andreas Pereira is reportedly set for an exit from the club this summer, as per reports. Italian journalist Fred Caldeira of [Esporte Interativo] claims that the 25-year-old is set for a €27m move to Italian side Lazio along with a 10% sell-on clause for the Red Devils.
The Brazilian received a considerable chunk of minutes last season during Paul Pogba's absence and before Bruno Fernandes arrived at the club. However, since they have established their places in the Eleven, Pereira's game time has reduced significantly and has failed to make it to the match day squad for any of their games so far, which could be indicative of a potential transfer away from the club.
Manchester United have agreed personal terms and agent fees for FC Porto star Alex Telles, as per Italian football journalist Fabrizio Romano. The left-back has recently emerged as a priority target for Manchester United this summer as they hope to provide competition for their players in this area of the pitch, Luke Shaw and Brandon Williams. The 25-year-old has come under criticism for his lack of offensive output as he is yet to register a league goal or an assist since the start of the last campaign.
Romano adds that the Red Devils are still in talks with Porto in order to finalise a fee for Telles. As per multiple reports, the record Portuguese champions are expecting a fee of €20m for their 27-year-old Brazilian star.
Telles is into the last year of his contract with the club, and they are said to be in favour of selling him now as opposed to losing him on a free come summer. Porto were reportedly unable to fulfill the Brazilian and his agent, Pini Zahavi's €4m-a-year wage requests, and a move is said to be ideal for all parties involved.

The Story Behind Bale And Zidane's Fallout. The Story Behind Bale And Zidane's Fallout.
~6.3 mins read
When the press ask Zidane about his relationship with Bale, he will say nothing is going on.... But over the months it has been more evident that all is not well between monk of Madrid and his speedster Gareth Bale.
Madrid bought Bale in 2013 courtesy of Carlo Ancelotti for $132M, with that kind of price tag,Bale was set to be a star in Ancelotti's plan.
Zinedine Zidane is already a legend in the club but it wasn't until 2016 when Zidane became Bale's boss, no one knew what to expect from Zidane, some didn't take him seriously enough. You'd think that winning the champions league in his first season would make everyone to take him serious, well not everyone.
Bale integral to that first UCL win, he started the final and scored a penalty to help Real Madrid win.... However it wouldn't take long for the fallout to begin. In April 2017,Bale had an injury in his right calf... With the clasico ahead, Bale wanted to make a triumphant come back despite the medical staff advice against rushing in his return.
Bale insistence on playing was plain to see, despite having doubts about his physical form, Zidane sent Bale in, only to be replaced in the 35th minute, Real lost that game at home and Zidane was furious. Bale picked up a more serious injury due to forcing his other leg to sustain the pain he got from the original one.
In the 2017/2018 season, Bale was so close to leaving for the premier league with Manchester united and Tottenham were chasing him but in the end he stayed, despite the tension Madrid had a fantastic season season, completing their 3 in a row as champions league winners where Bale as fundamental. He scored a brace in the final against Liverpool and right after the final whistle,Bale faced the mics on the glorious moment and thrashed talked his coach.
"Obviously, very disappointed not to start the game, I felt like I deserve to start but obviously the manager makes those decisions and what can you do?"
"The best I could do was to come on and make an impact and that's what I did.".....Gareth Bale.Post match interview, UCL 2018.
There's no way around it, Bale has declared war against his coach.....
"I need to be playing week in, week out, that's not been the case this season. I have to sit down with my agent and discuss my future.".....Gareth Bale. Post match interview, UCL 2018.
Zidane never showed anything in the surface but underneath there must be some bubbling resentment.
Zinedine Zidane is not known to be a tactical revolutionary like Pep Guardiola, his management style is to keep it simple and playing the players who are in the best physical conditions and unfortunately for the injury prone Bale... That's rarely him.
Zidane gave Bale some playing time but left him out in crucial champions league finals especially in the round of 16 match against PSG, so when he was subbed in.. He must have felt the rage building up.
Rumor has it that Zidane never approached Bale to congratulate him on their European win, neither of them will admit it but it's clear as day.. They have a problem with each other.
The table was set for Bale to finally leave and his spite with Zidane to be over.. But then Zidane left ,Cristiano left too and Bale had to fill from a supporting role to the center stage. How did that go?, Bale's first matches under Lopetegui were ok, I guess.
But that was hardly a highlight and Lopetegui was sacked then Salari was in and the hopes for backup, Bale played 22 matches under him and scored 9 goals. Sadly among those matches was the 1-4 against Ajax and then Madrid was out of the champions league, Salari was sacked and by March 2019 Zidane came back and at the end of the season it was clear that Madrid wasn't big enough for Zidane and Bale.
July 2019,Bale wanted out of Madrid and this time for good, so much so he was willing to go to China and the Chinese wanted to pay Bale $24M a year. Bale was so excited by this that he excused himself from Madrid's preseason games to fly to China to sign the deal. Zidane was having none of that, so Real Madrid refused the transfer deal and that was when Bale decided that he was not going to play for Madrid regardless.
Real Madrid lost their preseason match while Bale was somewhere golfing and from there Bale completely lost it.
Zidane no more has time and room for him especially after the Euro incident, Bale helped his nation qualify for the now postponed Euro 2020 cup, he celebrated like this....
It was his declaration of interest, first Wales, second was golf, then lastly was Madrid. The big problem about this relationship is the cost, Bale is killing Real Madrid on the settlement. Even though he no longer cares for the team, Bale is now looking forward for his contract to expire... It doesn't matter if he's playing or not but paying his wages is burning holes in Madrid's pockets.
Bale's antics on the sidelines caught more attentions than his game this season, this tense and passive relationship led to an awkward title celebration ever. I mean look at Bale's face.
A great coach, a great footballer and a great club, despite all those bickering they are winning titles for Real Madrid.. Imagine if they got along and I think very soon, Bale will leave Madrid.
