See the meaning of the word "INRI" on the cross of Jesus every Christian and beliver should know.

We as Christian and believers, it is important for us to know some certain things that is related to us as Christian and Jesus been the forefront of our Christian life, it is important to know some certain things about his death on the cross. Bringing us to the fact that I know most people might have been seeing the cross of Jesus on a daily basis but does not know the meaning of the word "INRI" and inscription on the cross. 

Well without going further, the bible made us to understand in John 19 verses 19-20, "Pilate had a notice prepared and fastened to the cross. It read: Jesus of Nazareth, the King of the Jews". And it Latin or Roman it reads "Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum". Or shortly "INRI". Which in English translates to "Jesus the Nazarene, King of the Jews".

Now most of the denominations, especially Catholic, Anglican and Lutheran, like to use that word INRI to represent the words written on the cross of Jesus.
