(1). If your interested in a girl and probably chatting her up on social media without planing to meet her soon, probably due distance, work, or other reasons, don't start with the statements like, “ we need to talk, or I want to discuss something with you”.

 

It's total fine, but not via texts or social media. "we need to talk or discuss " should be something you want to discuss with her in real life. Instead, start with words that will make her understand you're interested in her.

(2). Telling a girl you like doesn't mean you are rushing already. Tell her how you feel before someone else middle in. Besides, you can't expect your crush to read your mind and figure out on their own that you like them.

(3). Having a talk with a girl in person is much more effective than chatting with a girl on social media. That's not rushing, you only changed method.

(4). Find out what your crush is passionate about. If you get someone to talk about something they like, it’s going to put that person in a good mood. That's not rushing, but you're connecting with her fast.

Above all, studying a girl's personality matters a lot. It will help you to know if she is the type of girl you want or not. It will give you some clues on how to associate with a girl faster.
