you and your bridesmaids are hanging out the night before your wedding. Everything was not perfect, but you were absolutely happy about setting out on a new journey with your soon-to-be-husband. Nothing could have gone wrong from here on, you were sure of that.

Then, an unknown number sent you a slew of texts. It was an unknown number and one of the girls joked, “Phone is running hot tonight.”

This happened to Casey as a series of screenshots of his fiance, Alex (name has been changed), cheating with another woman sent to her. These were screenshots of their steamy exchange over texts, building since months ago before their wedding.

The unknown informant did not forget to include selfies as proof this isn’t just a prank.

One night away from her wedding and she knew better than to go on with the wedding. She wrote, “Every word like a dagger in my heart and my wedding was only hours away. How could I cancel when everyone had already traveled to be there and everything was paid for?”

She continued, “My girls were threatening all manner of violence against him. They insisted I call him immediately and call the wedding off.”

So, Casey decided to tell the girls to sleep off the night. But she couldn’t get a wink of sleep and finally came up with one decision in the morning: the party is happening.

Casey walked up in front of everyone and revealed, “I arrived at the front of the room, took a big breath, and I faced our friends, our parents and I told them the truth about Alex.”

“There will be no wedding today,” Casey shocked everyone. “It seems Alex is not who I thought he is.”

She proceeded to read the text messages, one of them read:

“This weekend. You and I. It is on, hot stuff. Bring your A game,” the other party sent.

“Your body is f*cking incredible. And sh*t do you know how to use it. I wish my GF had half the skills you do,” Alex replied.

“I miss you so much. I can’t stop thinking about L, S, F’ing you. I’ve never had this kind of connection before.”

Casey remembered staring at Alex after reading it as her eyes watered. His face paled and soon after she finished, he walked out of there silently, his best man followed closely behind. Alex’s family looked ‘horrified’.

“I love all of you and as horrible as this is I’m glad you all are here. There will not be a wedding reception today, but instead, there will be a celebration of honesty, finding true love and following your heart even when it hurts,” Casey informed the crowd after her shocking revelation.

Casey did not forget to invite Alex’s family members who are clearly bewildered to still enjoy the party. At the end of the day, only Alex, his brother and his two friends who left the party.
