The Giant Has Fallen; Will Nigeria Rise Again In The Next Two Decades?
~1.2 mins read

How has the giant fallen? Who stoned the giant? As I write this, I am in Nigeria. And there is peace. I am sitting on my table trying to eat a bowl of spaghetti and fish sauce. Do I have to run? Is there a war? The early morning papers are not filled with horror stories of the giant falling. Do I need to prepare myself by cashing out some money in case I'll need it?

You know what?
There is hope. That's when you and me decides to do the right thing. Fight or stand against corruption and bad governance.
Many people are loosing hope, but in every situation, there is a solution. The stronger the darkness, the more efficient the light. Only a small light of change from you and me will lighten the country up.
Whatever you do, do something good, let's do things right. Let's stand against rigging in elections, let's say no to this refurbished old men that keeps lieing to us. Let's live our lives knowing one day, we will give account of everything we've done. It's in our hands.
The giant has not fallen. And there is hope.

What Word Do Men Feared Been Called The Most?
~1.8 mins read

Probably rapist. You call a man a rapist and you quite literally end his life. A sad example of this is the young American football player Brian Banks. In 2008 he was falsely accused of sexual abuse by a woman. Banks spent six years in prison, doing hard time. And another five years on parole, still on a list of sex offenders and struggling.

The girl, Wanetta Gibson, later admitted that she had falsely accused Banks of rape — he never raped her. Being an absolute scumbag, however, she refused to testify to this effect under oath because she “did not want to lose the money awarded to her in damages”. She callously destroyed a man’s life, and refused to make amends or apologize in any meaningful way. All this out of spite, malice and greed. Ruining a man, possibly forever, simply “because she could”. These things disgust me.
It was only due to a secretly taped confession made by Gibson that the story came to light. After which Gibson went in full-on denial mode. Still, word got out. Banks got out. His ‘good name’ was restored. But this is far from common… it’s incredibly hard to undo damage like this. To clear your name, once tarnished. It’s a stain that stays with you forever. People often talk about the Brock Turners of this world, the remorseless rapists. And we should! Be we should never stop talking about the Brian Bank’s and the Wanette Gibson’s, either.
The word a man fears most is “rape” or “abuse”. Allegations are terrifying things. Often all it takes is an allegation to forever taint a man’s name, forever ruin his reputation. Even if he never sees the inside of a jail cell his life may very well be over and those caught lying too often get away with it scot-free.
