A society which ignores its teachers is a society which has misplaced the true meaning of where its treasure lies.

Dear Teacher, today I am grateful to God for the unique gift you are to the world, and ultimately to my life.

Beside my Parents, you remain one of the greatest persons God has used to shape me and make me the person that I am today.

You were there under the tree with 'blackboard' nailed to the tree to guide me on how to read and write ABCD....

You did not laugh at me when I made those mistakes. You did not even give up on me despite my stubbornness. Instead,  you continued your effort until I learned to read and write.

Dear Teacher, the treasure in you was effectively used to eventually bring out the hidden treasure in me. 

You are a model of what it means to be a great person.  You remain my model of being a great person.

Yes! A great person is that person who helps another develop his great treasure - the mind. That is exactly who you are. The many minds that you have nurtured are deeply indebted to you. 

We might have failed as a people in celebrating you, but we cannot take away the fact that God worked and is still working through your tireless effort to make us who we are today. 

Dear Teacher, today I can read and write. In fact, have written books because you believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself. What this means is that everyone that my writing reaches and touches; they are feeling the extension of your investment in my life.

Today I say, thank you for your investment in my life and the life of countless writers who are shaping the world.

You are the GREATEST GIFT GIVEN TO THE WORLD BY GOD.

An Ijesha Doctor can't find a job after graduation and so decided to open a clinic and puts a sign post outside

'GET TREATMENT FOR

20k - IF NOT CURED  GET BACK 100k.

An Ijebu Lawyer thinks this is a great opportunity to earn 100k and goes to the clinic...

Ijebu Lawyer:

"I have lost my sense of taste"

Ijesha Doctor:

"Nurse, bring medicine from box No. 22 and put 3 drops in patient's mouth"

Ijebu Lawyer: 

"Ugh..this is kerosene"

Ijesha Doctor:

"Congrats, your sense of taste is restored. Give me 20k" 

The annoyed Ijebu Lawyer goes back after a few days to recover his money...

Ijebu Lawyer:

"I have lost my memory. I cannot remember anything"

Ijesha Doctor:

"Nurse, bring medicine from box No. 22 and put 3 drops in his mouth"

Ijebu Lawyer (annoyed):

"This is kerosene. You gave this to me last time for restoring my taste"

Ijesha Doctor:

"Congrats. You got your memory back. Give me 20k"

The fuming Ijebu Lawyer pays him, and then comes back a week later determined to get back 100k.

Ijebu Lawyer:

"My eyesight has become very weak"

Ijesha Doctor: 

"Well, I don't have any medicine for that, so take this 100k"

The Ijebu Lawyer (staring at the cash): 

"But this is 20k,

not 100k"

Ijesha Doctor: 

"Congrats, your eyesight is restored. Give me 20k"

You can't beat an ijesha man.
