Breakdown Of All Buhari Said In His Speech In His Response To Nigerians' Cry
To say Buhari's message touched on nothing concrete would be saying the very obvious. The President in his speech this Thursday evening virtually did'nt really touch on the salient issues that Nigerians had prayed for him to speak on as the President of the country and the Commander In Chief of the armed forces.
Below is a summary of all he said:
Our deeds and acts have shown that we care.
Government has put in place measures to help women and the vunerable within us.
Summary of Buhari's speech
1. I've solved the genuine concerns of #EndSARS Protesters in my earlier speech on October 12th
2. Blamed the violence and deaths on #EndSARS Protesters
3. Didn't say the names of the dead Protesters but Paid tribute to officers of Nigerian police force who have lost their lives in the struggle
4. Didnt speak on the military invasion or who ordered the hit
5. Flaunted youth oriented programmes by his administration
6. Announced new salary structure for the police
7. Announces new salary structure for teachers
8. Warned our neighbours and international committees to know all the facts before taking sides
9. Called on youths to discontinue #EndSARS and embrace dialogue
10. Nigerians should go about their normal business.

Why We Rejected Okonjo-Iweala's Emergence As WTO Director General- United States.
~4.0 mins read

Despite securing the vote of 163 of the 164 members of the trade organisation on Wednesday, Okonjo-Iweala could not be declared the head of the WTO because of the objection by the United States.

The United States has explained why it opposed the emergence of former Nigerian Finance Minister, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, as the Director-General of the World Trade Organisation.
Despite securing the vote of 163 of the 164 members of the trade organisation on Wednesday, Okonjo-Iweala could not be declared the head of the WTO because of the objection by the United States.
Ex-Finance Minister Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala
In a statement by the office of the US Trade Representative, America cited lack of experience and procedural issues for its stance.
The statement reads, “The Office of the United States Trade Representative issued the following statement today on the selection of the next World Trade Organisation Director-General:
“The United States supports the selection of Korean Trade Minister Yoo Myung-hee as the next WTO Director-General. Minister Yoo is a bona fide trade expert who has distinguished herself during a 25-year career as a successful trade negotiator and trade policy maker.  She has all the skills necessary to be an effective leader of the organization.
“This is a very difficult time for the WTO and international trade. There have been no multilateral tariff negotiations in 25 years, the dispute settlement system has gotten out of control, and too few members fulfill basic transparency obligations.
“The WTO is badly in need of major reform.  It must be led by someone with real, hands-on experience in the field.
