How To Prepare Nkwobi

Nkwobi is a spicy cow foot that is eaten by the igbos. I've always loved nkwobi and I have decided to share with you today how to prepare it.

INGREDIENTS: 
•Cow meat.
•Stockfish.
•Palm oil.
•Oil bean.
•Nutmeg seeds.
•Pepper soup spice and onions.
•Pepper.
•Edible potash.
•Eguru.
•Crayfish.
•Seasoning cubes and salt.
•Utazi leaves.

Step1: Thoroughly clean  then wash and boil the cow meat then add water, onions, pepper and seasoning cubes.

Step2:Add the stockfish into a medium sized pot, add one seasoning cube and salt and boil it till it's soft.

Step3: Dissolve the potash in the water of the cow meat you boiled.

Step4: Add the pepper, crayfish, then ground the eguru till it's tender. Blend it till it's smooth.

Step5: Place a big pot on the gas cooker add palm oil then add akwawun mixture gradually, stir it till it thickens. Then you add the cooked cow meat, blended pepper and crayfish mix then leave to boil for three to four minutes. Then your nkwobi is ready.
 Serve immediately garnish with onion rings and sliced Utazi leaves.

Porridge beans is a very delicious food that can be eaten at anytime of the day but sometimes have a long time to get it cooked.

In this article, I will be showing you how to cook porridge beans with just #500.

INGREDIENTS:
•Beans - #150
•Palm oil - #100
•Pepper - #50
•Seasoning cubes - #50
•Crayfish - #50
•Onion - #50
•Scent leaf - #50

Step1: Select the stones and dirt from the beans then wash it. Parboil the beans for about an hour then wash it again.

Step2: Wash and slice your scent leaf, chop your onions and peppers.

Step3: Put your medium size pot on the fire then pour your palm oil into the pot add your pepper, onions, cray fish, scent leaf, parboiled beans then add the seasoning cubes and salt. Stir it and leave it to boil for about 15 minutes.

Your beans porridge is ready.
