She and her sister was sent to go and learn make up in one of her sister's friends who goes by the name Annestecia Mary on Facebook. Her sister whom she came together with to learn makeup went back to nursing and she was the only one left. And because of this, her mother gave Mary instruction that Lemachi should be dismissing by 4pm should she could be home in time.

The story took another round as she went missing.

Annestecia Mary took to her Facebook account to tell us how it happened and how Lemachi's parents especially her so called best friend treated her.

Annestecia said she used to dismiss Lemachi at exactly 4 as she was instructed but on this fateful day, she was the one that reminded them that it is 4pm already. They saw her cross the road as she does other times. But unknown to them, she went to a hotel with 2 men.

Annestecia said that when she was called by her parents that she was not back she was dumbfounded. Later her parents came and arrested her and other apprentice on the studio saying they had a hand in the disappearance of their daughter.

She was later found in a hotel after so many days of disappearance. But the sad part of it was that the parents nor Annestecia's best friend apologized to her knowing full well that the girl Lemachi has been doing something of this sort.

WHAT PARENTS SHOULD LEARN FROM THIS.

1. When you know the character (whether good or bad) of your child, do not leave him or her for anybody to 'train' so that others will not to discover the loophole.

What I mean by this is, the parents and siblings of Lemachi know the kind of life Lemachi leads. They shouldn't have totally left her in the care of Annestecia. Calling her at work or making her madam give her phone to talk with them would have kept her on her toes. Also, showing up in the studio sometimes might have helped.

One may say, for how long will they do this? Is she not 17 years old? Well, the foundation they laid for her whilst growing is paying off.

If they didn't do a thorough job, they are reaping the dividend. So they should have done this to augment what is left of her.

2. Parents Should Allow Their Teenage Daughters To Use Phones But With Restrictions.

A 17 Years old girl supposed to have a phone. I also respect the decision of the parents not to give her a phone especially if they had seen it was detrimental to her well being. But if she had a phone, there is no way she won't have been located.

If she had a phone, it would have rung severally and made her uncomfortable to stay too long with those men. She was too relaxed to have stayed for that number of days.

Apart from the fact that she was caught this way, Lemachi may have claimed that she was kidnapped or something.

Parents, I know how paranoid we are over these things but I will advise we give out teenage kids phone. Surprise them by checking their browser and chats when you notice something dishy is going on..

2. Parents Please Talk To Your Children About Relationships And Sex

This is jet age, whatever you refused to teach your kids, they will learn it anywhere. It will be disastrous if they learn it from a bad hand.

Mothers tell your children especially your girl child the dangers of premarital sex as the dangers affect the girl child more. Tell the friends they should be wary of. The companies they shouldn't keep.

Make them your friends so that they can confide in you. They will tell you who touched them and when they were abuse.

Talk about periods and changes in their bodies freely so they won't be ashamed of it.

3. Do your job as a parent

After reading the story Annestecia Mary Lyon posted on Facebook, I can assure you that Lemachi's parents are not doing their job as parents really well. 

What sort of parent allows a 17-year-old girl come home from school by 10pm? The red flags have been there all along and Lemachi's parents ignored it all. 

Please as a parent play your part really well and train your children in a way they'll grow and impact the society positively, and not just for your daughters but your sons as well.

 Lemachi a 17-year-old girl spent days in a hotel room with someone else's son(s), if these boys' parents had instilled discipline in their boys they wouldn't have spent days with a minor in a hotel room for days without having a change of heart and send her home.
