Nnamdi Kanu Was Detained Illegally And Rearrested In Kenya Reno

Reno Omokri, a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, has hinted that Nnamdi Kanu, chief of the Indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, was rearrested in Kenya.



Omokri said a top reliable of the Nigerian government disclosed this to him.



He disclosed the the United Kingdom, uk, was not aware of Kanu’s rearrest and extradition to Nigeria.



In a tweet, Omokri stated the authorities legit disclosed that Kanu’s detention was illegal.



Omokri wrote: “I simply spoke with a top united kingdom authorities source. Nnamdi Kanu was not arrested or extradited by using the British.



consistent with this official, Kanu was “almost definitely arrested in KENYA” and “it changed into an unlawful detention”. I won’t reveal my source, but i've him on file.”



Kanu was rearrested on Sunday through a mixed crew of Nigerian and foreign security operatives.



This was disclosed by the Minister of Justice and attorney general of the Federation, Abubakar Malami.



Malami had disclosed this all through a press conference in Abuja on Tuesday.

Osinbajo Name 26 Members Advisory Council

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, has inaugurated the national road safety Advisory Council.



Osinbajo stated this was as an indication of government’s persisted commitment to addressing the demanding situations of road safety in the country.



The Advisory Council is a vital factor of the updated national road safety method adopted by NEC and accredited by using the Federal executive Council late last year.



The road safety Advisory Council is chaired by Osinbajo, with the Corps Marshal of the Federal street safety Corps (FRSC), Mr Boboye Oyeyemi as Secretary.



The different members of the 26-member Advisory Council include six governors representing the six geo-political zones as follows:



Chief Willie Obiano, FCA, Governor of Anambra state, representing the South-East zone; Ifeanyi Okowa, Governor of Delta state, representing the South-South zone; Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos state, representing the South-West area; Alh. Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya, Governor of Gombe nation representing the North-East area; Mallam Nasir El-Rufai, Governor of Kaduna state representing North-West; Mr. Abdulrahman AbdulRasaq, Governor of Kwara state, representing the North-central zone.

contributors of the Council are: Secretary to the government of the Federation, Minister of transport, Minister of Works, Minister of health, Minister of Justice, Minister of education, Minister of Finance, budget and national planning, Minister of environment, Minister of Labour and Employment, Minister of Police Affairs, Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, national safety Adviser, President, association of local government of Nigeria, ALGON.

Others are, President, Nigeria association of Chambers of commerce, industry, Mines and Agriculture NACCIMA, President, Nigerian Society of Engineers, Board Chairman, Federal road safety commission, FRSC.
