A young woman claimed at a protest today that she’s joining the call to end SARS and its replacement SWAT because she’s been a victim and won’t wait for her children to go what she went through.

Chiatuiro Precious Chidera alleged she was raped by SARS two years ago after which they still extorted money from her.

She said she will not bring her daughter into a world where she could be raped by officers who should protect her, neither will she bring sons into a country where they can be easily killed. For these reason, she says she will continue to protest.

Holding a placard at the End SARS protest, she said: “I was raped by this motherf**kers last two years.

“They extorted money from me too.

“What was my crime: I fresh. I fresh na crime?

“I cannot give birth to a daughter in this country make them no go rape my daughter tomorrow.

“Make them no go shoot my son tomorrow.

“Na people pikin them they dead for Lagos state. End SARS. End police brutality.”

Twitter users sent her messages of hope and she said she has “lived past it”.

According to a Facebook user, the mechanic had sent money to his lady to visit him, but he thought she won't come until his girlfriend surprised him and showed up.

"We have raised an absolute whole of: NGN 62,643,663.05; USD 11,474.34 (N4.3m), CAD 5,595.89 (N1.6m), GBP 5,733.49 (N2.8m), EUR 875.42 (N390,225), GHS 1,256.70 (N81,823), KES 53,016.60 (183,656) and BTC 1.28827988 (N5.5m). 

"With these assets, we have upheld 100 quiet fights in 25 states, paid NGN 759,080 in hospital expenses for harmed dissenters, given NGN 400,000 to the groups of casualties killed by cops while fighting calmly, paid NGN 500,000 in lawful guide and spent N 11,367,500 on provisions including food, water, cover in addition to other things for the serene nonconformists."
