Manta Resort in Zanzibar, Tanzania is Africa's first-ever underwater accommodation. The unique underwater room of The Manta Resort on the Zanzibari island of Pemba sits 4 meters beneath the Indian Ocean. The Manta Resort was stylishly designed by a Swedish artist, Mikael Genberg, who also built the first underwater hotel room in a lake in Sweden.

The Manta Resort on Zanzibari island is a three-tiered suite that has a roof deck, landing deck at sea level with a lounge and bathroom, and the unique underwater bedroom is designed with waterproofed windows that allow guests to view different species of tropical fish. At the rooftop, guests can sunbathe or stargaze🤗 on the bed of the roof deck. 

The uniquely designed underwater rooms at Manta Resort are 17 in number and each room costs a range of $900( N392,004) for singles and $1,500( N653, 340 ) for couples per night.

Manta Resort is indeed a wonderful place to visit and spend some quality time😊. Also, the existence of the unique underwater accommodation has boosted tourism in Tanzania and it has also introduced underwater Tourism in the African continent.
