Transfer Updates: Gabriel Jesus & Dembele To Chelsea, Nunez To Liverpool
~343.0 mins read
The transfer window is already heated up with Manchester City already signing Erling Haaland and Alvarez, the swiftness at which the Citizens have gone about their transfer business has left other top clubs in England and Europe looking inefficient and slow.
Pep Guardiola might have gotten the reinforcement he needs in attack very quickly, but other still have loads of time to complete their transfer business, so today we will be taking a look at the top seven transfers that could be completed in the coming weeks.
1. Gabriel Jesus
The Brazilian has failed to nail down a more prominent role in Pep Guardiola's Manchester City side despite being the only natural striker in the team last season, and reports suggest that he is eager for a move in search of regular minutes as he might drop further down the pecking order with the signing of Erling Haaland and Alvarez.
He has been heavily linked with Chelsea and Arsenal while Milan appears to have joined the race, a deal to Chelsea seems the most likely as he would be in a top team competing in the Champions League, Chelsea or any other interested club could secure his services for £50m.
2. Ousmane Dembele
Another player that has been heavily linked with Chelsea, Dembele is out of contract at Barcelona and Chelsea could snap him up for free this summer, although a renewal at Barca is on the cards if the Catalan club is able to sort out it's financials else he could be on his way to Chelsea in the coming weeks.
3. Darwin Nunez
Liverpool have reportedly completed agreement and paperwork's with Benfica for the signing of the Uruguayan striker, [Fabrizio Romano] reports a fee of £80m with £20m in add ons has been agreed, although the deal is still subject to medicals, should the medicals go according to plan Liverpool could announce their new striker in the coming weeks.
4. Richarlison
Everton could lose one of their star man after reports surfaced that Tottenham have made a transfer offer of £51m for the player, the North London club have the lure of Champions League football and could well secure the attackers signature in the coming weeks.
5. Bernado Silva
Manchester City are demanding close to £93m from Barcelona if they are to let Bernado Silva leave the club, the midfielder has been on the radar of Barca since the last summer transfer window and reports have suggested the club is only willing to pay a fee in the region of £60m - £65m for the player.
6. Sadio Mane
The Liverpool attacker appears to be edging closer to the exit door as Bayern Munich look to snap him up for Liverpool's £40m valuation, also the arrival of Darwin Nunez could fast track his transfer to Bayern Munich.
Mane reportedly earns a meagre £100k at Liverpool and Bayern seems to be offering £250k a week to the Senegalese international.
7. Robert Lewandowski
it seems Manchester United have turned their attention to Robert Lewandowski having missed out on Darwin Nunez, although they face fierce competition for Lewandowski's signature with Barcelona also looking to sign the Polish captain.
Once again it boils down to Barcelona been able to sort their financials troubles if they are to sign Lewandowski.
