Isaac Alarcn Will Not Be Part Of The Dallas Cowboys
~0.8 mins read
Dallas.- Mexican offensive lineman Isaac Alarcón was left off the Dallas Cowboys main roster for the 2021 NFL Season.
However, the one born in Monterrey, Nuevo León, will continue in a certain way with the team. This thanks to the International Program of the NFL.
Alarcón, who transitioned from tackle to guard, made his preseason debut for the Cowboys in the Hall of Fame game against the Steelers.
In the last preseason game against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Alarcón was one of the Cowboys captains.
Last year Alarcón arrived in Dallas as part of the international program and was also not promoted to the team’s active roster. The Cowboys can use Alarcón’s place of exception for three years.
In April, Alarcón was drafted by the Calgary Stampeders in the third round of the Canadian Football League Global Draft.
Although Alarcón has a contract with the Cowboys, should he try his luck in the CFL in the future, his rights now belong to Calgary.
