SMALL BUT MIGHTY
~1.1 mins read
MICAH 5:1-5
Key Verse: "But thou, Bethlehem Ephratah, though thou be little among the thousands of Judah, yet out of thee shall he come forth unto me that is to be ruler in Israel; whose goings forth have been from of old, from everlasting" (Micah 5:2).
*Incredible! Unbelievable!* These and many other words are used to describe situations that one cannot ever imagine would happen.
Here, Bethlehem, not ranked popular among the cities of Judah, became the city of David and even the birth place of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. Except for God's choice, Bethlehem would not have been, by any standard, the popular choice of the birthplace of the *'Ruler of Israel',* and of course the King of the whole universe.
In the same way, the coming of the Saviour Jesus Christ into the life of an individual will transform the person from being an ordinary and worthless individual to a great person. God used the shepherd's rod in Moses' hand as an instrument of judgment on Pharaoh and the Egyptians, to divide the Red Sea and to bring out water from the rock for the comfort of the people.
As a believer, you must know who you are in Christ. You are worth much more than your age, family background and ability. The kingdom of Satan is terrified at your sight, and your prayer is a powerful instrument to defeat all problems. You may be small in size, but you are great and mighty in Christ.
Prayer: Help me O Lord, to know who I am in Christ.

BE YE SEPARATE. 1*

SINCERE MILK: Children Daily Devotional Guide.
2 CORINTHIANS 6:14-18
Key Verse: "Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you" (2 Corinthians 6:17).
There are two categories of people in the world.
(i) Those who love Jesus and have accepted Him as personal Saviour and Lord (saints).
(ii) Those who oppose Jesus and reject His offer of salvation (sinners).
These two categories exist side by side in every community. This is the reason the Bible emphasizes the need for friends of Jesus to be separate from all influences of sinners.
The subject of separation from evil is very important in God's relationship with His children. No one can serve two masters at the same time. You must choose only one master.
