The APC national women's leader, Dr Betta Edu, discussed the impact the APC women's wings will have on ensuring that the APC retains presidential power beyond the 2023 presidential election.

According to the Tribune newspaper, she claimed that she will mobilize people from all angles in Nigeria in order to make sure that the APC presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, is elected in the fast approaching election.

She stated that the women's decision to support Tinubu is because he demonstrated his leadership qualities in his previous position and has also proven to be the father of democracy.

We are all aware that the APC has a track record of providing good leadership in the economy, infrastructure, and other areas for the betterment of Nigeria.

She assured us that the women's wing of APC will contribute a lot to the party in the next election because they will be going from door to door. We will mobilize all our people across 36 states to make sure that 40 million Nigerians vote and support Bola Ahmed Tinubu to be president of Nigeria.
