NCDC And NYSC Give Prospective Corps Member Condition To Gain Entrance Into The Orientation Camps

The National Youth Service Corps NYSC has been unable to absorb and mobilize new corps member as a result of the previous lockdown caused by the Covid 19 pandemic. The NYSC has slated the 10th of November for the reopening of the NYSC orientation camps across the State. However, the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control NCDC has said all prospective corps members will be tested using the new antigen-based test.“The Center has been working round the clock with the NYSC for months now targeting to reopen youth service orientation camps. According to the center, progress has been made to ensure that the camp is reopened safely. The centre also disclosed that the process of procurement of the antigen-based test was almost complete and is likely to be completed before the set date.The Director-General of the Centre, Dr Chikwe Ihekweazu made this known while briefing the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 on Tuesday. He said, “We will test everyone (corps members) and that will enable us to keep our camps safe and also help us understand what is going on in the rest of the country.â€The Director-General also call on the parents and families of the prospective corps member to do what they have to do.Covid 19 test is not optional but compulsory if you will enter NYSC orientation camp.It is on this note that I want to call on the prospective NYSC corps member to cooperate with the NYSC and the NCDC to ensure a safe stay in the orientation camp.

Move Lagos State Capital From Ikeja To Eko Atlantic, Ben Bruce Advise Lagos State Government

The former senator from Bayelsa State and the Chief Executive Officer of Sliver Bird, Ben Murry-Bruce has advised the Lagos State governor to move the State capital from it present Ikeja to Eko Atlantic. He gave this advice in a short video posted on his verified Twitter account.
According to Ben Bruce, Eko Atlantic is a futuristic city, built in Lagos, the commercial nerves of West Africa and the fourth largest economy in Africa. Eko Atlantic is a $40 billion project and that makes it the biggest real estate development in the world.
Mr. Ben Bruce maintain that Eko Atlantic is a paradise on earth, it is a free trade zone area and that makes it the future of Lagos. And that is why he is asking the Lagos State government to move her capital to the most beautiful area of the State. Mr. Ben Bruce also advise the State government to allocate land to the former governors of the State, so they too can build their houses and live there and become key agent of attracting investment.
The former senator recommended that the present Alausa secretariat in Ikeja can be transform into 21st century school of Art University of Science and Technology that can accommodate as many as 50,000 students. The University will build the first Africa Electric car, solar panel, inverters and Africa first space program.
He ended the 2minutes 8 seconds video with the statement, "Remember Lagos State is not just a state, it is a country".
