Updates On Polytechnic And College Of Education Reopening.
The government of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is still relentless on its promise to see to it that the heath of students will not be risky by reopening schools amid the Covid-19 pandemic without adequate preparation.
The Federal government on 3 September suggest that it will be allowing state government to decide on when and how to reopen school after the covid-19. Following the announcement the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 express fear and warn that heads and authorities governing schools should be conscientious as they plan to reopen school because Coronavirus is till real.
As the federal government announcement give hope of reopening of school. Academic activities; date for semester examination to end the 2019/2020 academic calendar, as well as processes towards admission into the 2020/2021 academic session and other academic plans have resumed.
In Nigeria there are about 90 Polytechnics, 28 Federal, 47 State and 20 Private Polytechnics in the country. The country also have about 100 Colleges Of Education.
On academic plans, Such Polytechnic in Edo State have started admission process for the 2020/2021 academic session.
Auchi Polytechnic, Auchi, Edo State don begin admission process for di 2020/2021 academic session. Federal Polytechnic Ado Ekiti has begin admission screening exercise into the 2020/2021 academic session and it will be ending on the 28 November 2020.
Also Federal Polytechnic Bida has begin admission process for 2020/21 academic session and it is reported that selling of form for admission will close on 31 October, the registration is online.
The Federal Polytechnic of Ede admission process for 2020/21 academic session is on. Selling on form will be ending on 31 October.
Federal Polytechnic Iloro admission process is on for 2020/21 academic session ND 1 entering.
Federal Polytechnic Offa announced online Post UTME screening exercise 2020/21.
Federal Polytechnic Oko has begin admission process for 2020/21 academic session.
Federal Polytechnic Nekede, Owerri, started online lectures from 7 September, 2020. Quiz, Assignment and examinations will be conducted online.
Federal Polytechnic of Oil and Gas in Bonny, Rivers State have started admission process for 2020/21 academic session.
Yaba Collage of Technology, Lagos State postponed screening date of 2020/21 post UTME to 26 October 2020.
Petroleum Training Institute Effurun will have it Post UTME screening 19 September and 21 November, respectively.
Airforce Institute of Technology (AFIT),NAF Base Kaduna ask all freshers the got admission for 2019/20 academic session to consider losing their admission if they didn't complete registration before 8 September.

A groundnut seller in tears after she receives over 2.3 million naira from protesters in lekki.
Actually, Lekki is a city in Lagos State, Nigeria. It is located to the south-east of Lagos city.
The ongoing EndSARS protest actually made many people lost their vehicles and other facilities. The protest is all over the country (Nigeria).
Just recently, some protesters in Lekki toll gate reportedly raise over 2,300,000 naira for a young woman who came to sell groundnut for the protesters.
The woman can hide her tears. She broke down in tears after receiving the huge amount of money.
The people who were protesting sees how the woman is struggling to sell her groundnut at the protest ground. This makes them to raise the money for her to live a better life.
Those that donated the money includes some Nigerians celebrities.
The groundnut seller couldn't hide her tears when she received the good news.
