Cerebral Palsy (also known as CP) is a congenital disorder of movement, muscle tone or posture. Some people call cerebral palsy patients Imbeciles.
Cerebral palsy is due to abnormal brain development, frequently before birth.
Cerebral Palsy is triggered as a result of brain injury or problem that takes place at some point of pregnancy or beginning or within the first 2 to 3 years of a child's life. It can be precipitated by: Problems from being born too early (premature birth). Not getting ample blood, oxygen, or other nutrients before or in the course of birth. 

Does Cerebral Palsy worsen with age?
Cerebral palsy is a “non progressive disorder". This simply means that as children get older, their Cerebral Palsy will not worsen. While an individual's cerebral palsy will no longer decline as they get older, there are a few things that can affect their general health and wellness.

How long can a patient with cerebral palsy live?
Although there have been no general research of life expectancy in humans with cerebral palsy, most youngsters affected by Cerebral palsy stay between 30 and 70 years, depending on the severity of the condition. In general, a toddler with a mild case of Cerebral Palsy generally lives longer than a infant with mobility and intellectual limitations.

What Are The Treatments That Can be Given To Cerebral Palsy Patients?
1. Surgery: Surgery is one of the many options available to assist children with cerebral palsy which improves mobility, posture and assures healthy growth. Most doctors recommend physical therapy and medicine earlier than surgery. Surgery can correct or improve motion and alignment in the legs, ankles, feet, hips, wrists and arms.
