"what about that?" Brody, an overfed female broiler looked up from the feeding trough, she had been stuffing her mouth with feed.

"if you don't know what it means, I do." Koko sounded very sad. He crowed loudly, it was noon.

"what does it mean?" Brody had her mouth filled with feed and had difficulties talking with her mouth full.

"Death! Brody, Death! You will die, I will die, every other chicken in there with you would die."

Brody squealed in dismay, and so did the other fowls with her in the pen. Koko didn't mean to scare them, but there was the need to alert them. 

"why would we die?" Another broiler asked, finally distracted from his lunch. Koko nodded in disappointment. Humans weren't wrong when they called chickens foolish, it was pathetic that the broilers couldn't read the handwriting on the wall. 

Koko adjusted on the wall, to a position where all the fowls would see him without straining.

He cleared his throat. "Chickens, listen up. I have lived in this compound for there years, and I have seen two Christmas come and go. Every Christmas celebration is a threat to our kind. Everybody wants to eat chicken meat, and we get killed in hundreds and thousands, to satisfy those carnivorous creatures called men. I am not surprised that you birds do not understand why you are overfed, as it's been just a few months since you arrived. Sadly, I hate to interrupt the party with breaking news. Our end is in a few days."

Brody was the first to recover from the shock. Her white feathers glowed under the bright light in the pen. "what do we do, Koko?" she had lost appetite for the feed completely, and so did the other birds.

"we revolt!" I didn't think it through, but it sounded brilliant to me. I repeated myself. "we revolt against humanity, we fight for our freedom."

The older of the birds in the pen murmured, and the younger ones and the female broilers cried in fear.

"There's no other way out! We ruin Christmas 2022 for everyone, or we are freed. Let every bird in the pen who agrees with me repeat after me. THE REVOLUTION OF THE CHICKENS."

I heard them all scream in unity "THE REVOLUTION OF THE CHICKENS."

Controversial ex presidential aide and popular media influencer, Reno Omokri, who’s known for criticizing his fellow politicians, has slammed the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Bola Tinubu, over the appointment of former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode as one of his spokespersons ahead of the 2023 presidential election.

Revisiting how Femi Fani-Kayode in the past had sworn that Tinubu “will never be President as long as Christ lives”, Reno Omokri claimed that the APC presidential candidate cursed himself with the appointment.

He also said that the former Minister’s appointment made him happy.

Omokri wrote;

“One of the happiest days of this year for me was the day Tinubu appointed Femi Fani-Kayode as one of his spokesmen. This is a man who said on video that as long as Christ lives, Tinubu will never be President.

“Then Tinubu added his ‘amen’ by appointing him his spokesman! Tinubu cursed himself. Even Tinubu knows that you cannot stop a ‘church rat from eating a poisoned holy communion’. As long as he rejected FFK, he rejected that prayer. But by embracing FFK, he embraced that prayer.”

Reno Omokri had in the past urged actress, Joke Silva to ignore those questioning her for supporting APC presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Joke Silva and another Nollywood actress, Folake Daramola had been seen on Monday while they joined the APC’s women rally in support of Bola Tinubu in Lagos and it had stirred reactions from many social media users online.

Prior to the women’s rally in Lagos, a post had circulated online listing both actresses as a member of the women’s wing of Tinubu’s presidential campaign council.

He wrote:

WE LOVE YOU @JOKESILVA. NEVER MIND THESE PEOPLE. THOSE THAT COMMEND YOU ARE MORE THAN THOSE THAT CONDEMN YOU. YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO SUPPORT TINUBU, AND THOUGH I SUPPORT ATIKU, I CAN STILL SAY THAT YOU AND OLU JACOBS ARE A CREDIT TO NIGERIA. IGNORE THEM AND BLOOM!
