1. Take breakfast rich in protein, protein rich diets reduces craving for carbs.
2. Avoid sugary drinks.
3. Choose weight friendly foods. E.g green leafy vegetables, whole grains etc
4. Accompany your meals with vegetables
5. Drink water 30 minutes before eating.
6. Eat high soluble fibre meal e.g carrot, peas, apples etc
7. Eat whole food, or unprocessed meals ( natural food you get from your gardens)
8. Take tea or coffee; caffeine increases body metabolism by breaking down excessive sugar in the blood.
9. Excercise; do little but consistent excercise. E.g skipping, stretching, jumping jacks, run short distances etc
10. Eat slowly; chew your food thoroughly and then swallow by so doing increases the time you finish your meals.
11. Use a smaller plate. Studies have showed that those who eat in bigger plates will have a problem controlling their weights.
When put your food in a bigger plate, your mind is switched to eating all the food thus consuming more calories.
12. Having a good night sleep; a good night sleep helps with weight loss.
Precautions;
1. Those with peptic ulcer, gastroenteritis, heartburn, be cautious of lemon, ginger for weight loss as they contain high acidic content which can cause excerbations of ulcer.
2. Avoid skipping meals. Always take healthy meals as stated..
