The Rwandan Woman Arrested For Public Indecency
~141.2 mins read
A 24 year Rwandan 🇷🇼 woman, RwaMugabekazi Lilliane was arrested and charged with public indecency after wearing a revealing dress at a concert by popular French musician Tayc in Kigali on the 9th August 2022. She’s currently in jail as she waits to hear her fate in court.
“She is suspected to have committed public indecency,” the spokesman for the prosecution, Faustin Nkusi, told AFP, adding that the court would announce on Tuesday whether she would receive bail.
News of the arrest sparked outrage among some Rwandans, but government officials including former justice minister Johnston Busingye backed the move, according report by Nwanzo TV.
Is Rwanda right about this move?
Many argued on Modern Africa's page with their different views. Below is a screenshot of some views argued.
My personal view on this matter is that, Rwanda is right for making such move in protecting and preserving the moral values and principles of the country. The so-called Civilization or modernization is a term used to corrupt the well organized system of the African society which highly appreciates honesty, integrity, loyalty, modesty, decency, Respect for authorities and many more cherished values of our society.
As for me, the woman in her so called dress was naked and the Rwandan government arresting and charging her of public indecency is a right move to make. For those who are arguing against the proper action made, I say this to them because the World has accepted that manner of dressing even in the public doesn't make it a right thing to do. No matter how high a wrong act is appreciated or praised, the quality of its wrongness can never make it a right act. This is my take on the matter.
What's your opinion, on this?

~66.7 mins read
Reefsuites is the first underwater accommodation in Australia. It is located about 40 nautical miles from Airlie Beach on Australia's northeastern coast. The Reefsuites have both underwater and onboard beautiful sceneries to feed the eyes and blow the minds of their guests.
These suites are designed with
floor-to-ceiling windows for ample opportunities to watch the underwater animals swim by, and rooms are stylishly arranged with luxurious beds (either one king-sized bed or two twins) so guests can sleep beneath the waves while watching the marine life.
Guests of Reefsuites Start their underwater experience with
an overwater cruise through the idyllic Whitsunday Islands before making their way to Hardy Reef, where the Reefworld vessel is moored. As an all-inclusive vacation package, visitors will enjoy a hearty lunch followed by an afternoon of snorkeling, diving, and swimming. For an additional cost, travelers can book a scenic helicopter flight to see the perfectly shaped Heart Reef.
Rates for the Reefsuite experience start at $995 which is about N431k in Nigerian currency.
I think the place is more sheen and luxurious than Jules' Underwater Lounge in Florida. Reefsuites is a wonderful place to spend time off work, go for an underwater vacation with a spouse🤗😍. It's so lovely 🤩.
What do you think about Reefsuites dear readers💁?
