Day 4
It's now a constant routine to be punished every morning for waking up late, they normally call it RSM Shay( RSM Tea). I am used to it and no matter how I try, I still wake up after the bell. And there is always corporal Bello to always catch me and serven me the "Shay". Constantly we were becoming friends because while he is drilling me, we get talking. At first he was more brutal and ruthless towards me. I had this pot Belle and a fair complexion which presupposes I was an ajebo. He will always say "bomboy, you again".
While he was punishing me today for my routine late coming we got talking, he shared his experiences with lazy people like me before and how he has changed them. From his explanation he referred to most of such people as coming through the "Hajiya list" and thus can not leave up to the task. He even scared me by saying most of them don't survive the first three months. I was still "warming my pot"(a name for a punishment in which you put your head on the ground or any rough surface, you two legs are spread on the ground too in such a way that your eyes can see in-between your legs, you fly your hands high above in the air) as he recounted his horror experience with other trainees in the past.
He later told me to jump up and seat, my eyes were weak and my body soaked in mud already, he could barely notice I was crying but asked me why I chosed to join in this service if I am not committed to this course and is always as though I was forced to be here. It was a long but sad story to be hear but he was all ears ready to listen. So I started the story....

Day 5
I am from a very wealthy family, my dad was a permanent secretary and my mum was a nurse. I had two siblings (girls only). Life has always been Rosey growing up in such a serene environment. It was easy to see politicians and high profile personalities visit us while we were young. My dad was working at the ministry of finance so this was quite expected. I was privileged to meet most if not all the big names in town as the first son and children.
My siblings and I attended one of the best schools in the country, the aura in school when Dad brought us in his different flashy cars every term. Our lunch box and school bag was different and unique from that of the other students. We drew the attention of the whole school that even new teachers in the school were eager to know us and through us get a reason to talking to our dad. Live growing up was quite easy.
We were not allowed to mingle with the boys around, so the only concept of live I had was life inside our little mansion, life on television and social media space. The only friend I had that was from a poor and lowly background was our Gardner's son. He was not really intelligent. While I always told him of my dreams to become a lawyer, his only aspirations though he thought it was not possible was joining the army. He was muscular, huge and always training himself for this.
Things changed so fast in a blink of an eye when .....
