JULES' UNDERSEA LODGE
~1.1 mins read
JULES' UNDERSEA LODGE

Underwater accommodations are slowing riding over overwater bungalows. Here is another underwater empire, the popular JULES' UNDERSEA LODGE in Key Largo, Florida.

JULES' UNDERSEA LODGE is built 30 feet below the ocean's surface. This means that you can't easily spot the underwater lodge while staring in the water. The lodge is located way down by 30 feet. All visitors to the lounge need some swimming skills for them to be able to dive down the water and access their rooms. It's truly a trip like no other but I think those who make the trip way down should be rewarded.

The rooms are quite cozy and I love it. Single rooms have windows while couples rooms and others have a glass covering from the walls to the ceiling of the rooms where visitors can see the beauty of undersea. It's really amazing living in a aquarium-like rooms.

Once inside the underwater lodge, guests can sit back and relax near the portal and watch even more aquatic life go by. And those who feel peckish can raid the mini bar, which comes stocked with snacks, water, soda, and iced tea.

Rates for an underwater stay start at JULES' UNDERSEA LODGE goes for $900 for single occupancy, $1,350 for couples, and $3,487.50 for groups of six.

LOVERS OF NATURE THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY Part 11
~2.8 mins read
Hello, Lovers of Nature

Much love🤗 from this end to you all, lovers of nature, and readers of my series. Welcome to PART 11 of Lovers of Nature through photography. First of all, I want to render my apologies to my wonderful viewers for not publishing yesterday, Thursday. I had a lot on my plate yesterday which was all unexpected.

In this episode, I will be sharing a very unique picture that has a pitiful story behind it with you guys. I termed it unique because it's the first nature picture that I captured myself in it. Cool right?😏 Here is the story👇

Yesterday, it rained for long morning hours in Makurdi, Benue State. The long timed rain ate most of the daytime and the cold weather made me remember an unpleasant experience I had in 2019 while coming back from school after heavy rain.

On that particular day, I went to school in the morning for lectures before we could finish our last lecture of the day, it started raining. At first, the rain wasn't heavy so I thought I could wait till it's ends then I will go home and that ended up being the wrongest choice. The rain became heavy and lasted for hours. While in school, I was just thinking of how all the roads to my area will be filled with enough water, with no dry road leading to my house.

The rain finally stopped at around 5 pm. Fortunately for me, I met my close neighbor while leaving school. We decided to use Dunamis street to our area but we saw River Dunamis(makurdians will understand what I'm saying) overflowing its banks so we left. We took another road which is linked to bolek filling station.

On reaching there, it seemed safe till we came face to face with River Rahama hospital. After much calculation, We saw that River Rahama hospital was the only big water base to cross and walk safely home so we had no choice but to cross by entering the dirty water which had my legs, kneel level completely buried in it. It was a long walk in the river base and immediately we go out, we climbed the blocks of gutter on Akosu Bija street (last street to ours) then my neighbor decided that we should snap the event we experienced and the snaps came about the display picture of today.

The display picture captured beautiful sunset on that day after the heavy rain, the electric poles on the street, water dominating the street, bushes and me standing on the gutter to avoid entering the water again and that was my victory. We walked on the gutter till we landed on the next street then we finally walked home. This day was not only sad for us but also devastating for other students and families who were living in areas like Saba, villa suites, gyado villa, and so on. All the destruction caused by floods is attributed to the poor water drainage system in Makurdi, Benue State. Well, that's the story.

The picture is extremely amazing because it captured a lot of natural effects, components, and creatures. The clouds, sunset(with beauteous colourings from the other side), water, human beings and so on. Despite the sad experience, the picture is extremely lovely to stare at.

LOVERS OF NATURE THROUGH PHOTOGRAPHY is a concept I brought to this platform where I can be sharing my snaps with the Wonderful viewers on pejoweb. Posting is every Thursday.

Always remember that everything God created for mankind is extremely beautiful and of great value to us. Always appreciate the beauty of nature and ourselves as human beings(born of God to be His beloved children).

Thanks for reading to the end. Share with me also your ideas about my snaps and your love for nature in the comment section.
