MY FIRST WEEK AT SCHOOL EXPERIENCE
~1.5 mins read
My school, Benue State University Makurdi, scheduled resumption on the 24th of October,2022, and the matriculation ceremony was held on Friday, 28th of October, 2022. As an old student, I resumed school on Monday, 31st October 2022.
School resumption was quite difficult for me because I enjoyed a lot of comfort and rest during the strike. I had to reprogram my mind with the habits of waking up early, cooking and getting ready for school, and getting ready for exams for the 1st week of resumption (24th - 28th October 2022).
Well, school resumption isn't all stressful but it's entertaining too. At least I was able to see my coursemates after 8 long months🤗. Lots of hugging, kisses, and love were shared among everyone. Judging from the looks of things, this strike did well for a lot of students, 95% of students gained weight, looking all fresh and soft, and some also bought new gadgets(iPhones, AirPods, etc).
Despite all the fun, we are back for school activities. On Monday, we were all seated waiting for our criminal law lecturer to come to class. The man came and the first thing he asked was "what was our course outline?" The class laughed and murmured since it seemed we even forgot the last topic taught. Our lecturer decided to remind us about our course outline for 1st semester by calling out the topics. Honestly, I found it hard to remember the topics taught then it dawned on me that I had to intensify my reading and overlook my comfort zone and resting days within the strike period.
So far so good, I'm back to base with my school activities, house chores, and pejoweb activities. This has been my school resumption experience after the ASUU strike.
You guys can also share with me your own experiences too in the comment section.
I wish all pejowebians a successful and beautiful stay in school upon this unpredicted resumption 😁.
Thanks for reading to the end.

Nigerian Lecturer Uses Scissors To Shave Student's Dreadlocks In Class
~1.4 mins read
The incident happened at Veritas University, Abuja where the lecturer was seen in a viral video shaving the head of his student right inside the lecture hall. The lecturer with his act turned his class into a barbing salon and this got other students laughing at the guy the whole time in class.
In the video posted on Instagram by @instablog9ja, the student picked and pocketed his locs after being shaved by his Lecturer.
Honestly speaking, I don't think this act of the lecturer would go well with guys who are keeping and maintaining their dreadlocks. I mean it's embarrassing to do this to a student at the university. If I were him, I would have sent the said student out of my class on the note that he only enters my class when his hair is shaved💁. I think that is a reasonable way to treat a person whether young/old in this situation. Well, that's my opinion.
