WHAT'S THE HOPE OF THE NEXT GENERATION EDUCATIONALLY IN NIGERIA_ Joseph Kefson.

By Joseph Kefson.

The present system of education in Nigeria has given students reasons not to study hard. There is a popular saying, "School is a scam". Personally, school is not a scam. The slogan came as the result of our educational system.

Back then our parents don't take education likely. Those that were unable to attend early education feels regret. Remember there are factors that hinder some of our parents not to go to school at the early stage.

But then, what about our present generation? Do we have any reason not to go to school talk more of been serious academically.

Well, our institutions are full with young people but few are really in school. Students have now turn school to be an environment of fun. Erro! That's why study is hard for them.

What about the lecturers? Do we still have qualified and sound lecturers? Only few. Many lecturers lobby to secure lecturing job with empty head. Standing in front of students, looking stranded and confused on what to teach. The best thing they can offer is to search Google and copy hard working work of some people then give it out to students as handout. WHAT A SHAME. Does research now becomes difficult?

What about our government? Do they have interest in shaping the current educational system? Do they care how our institutions are running and managing? Why employing empty lecturers that are after money for students to pass?

Furthermore, I still don't understand the cause. Whom to blame I still don't understand. This article stand as a survenia questions that requires possible answers to seek a way forward. May God help and delivered our educational system in Nigeria.

~3.2 mins read
Good evening to everyone. Today Is 16th September 2020 and I presents to you the latest update about school resumption. We all know that students nationwide are eager to hear the final decision of federal government concerning school resumption.
According to newsmen, some of our politicians did not support the idea of reopening schools now. "They warned the federal government against the resumption of schools and said it is dangerous for schools to resume."
Friends it's very important to know that our politicians gave reasons why federal government should not reopen schools now.
1. Reopening of schools now will cause a spread of Coronavirus nationwide.
2. If schools resume now the safety measures given to students might not be heeded. This was stated because children might not adhere to the instruction, and they may play or interact with their friends, classmates and forget there is Coronavirus.
Furthermore, as I earlier stated above students nationwide are eager to resume to schools and our government are also working hard to stop the spread of Coronavirus in the country. So all students should be patient and wait for the conclusion of federal government because it's all for our own good.
Now what is your opinion about schools resumption?
Don't you think the federal government is trying to stop the spread of Coronavirus?
