Well, I have no worries. As the other woman, I still have my terms and condition, if the tin no work again, I go just jeje comot, abi?

Hmmm..but it is not as easy as you think! I'm a woman who wants to settle down but, they all don't stay.

Not that I am not beautiful enough o! It just appears like I'm only good enough to warm their beds, or is there something about me that doesn't want to make them settle down? Anyway, I'm not even bothering myself much again, so long as 'pepper' dey drop, I am okay.

I just received a text message from my friend Rhoda, guess what? She is getting married next month! Chai! This is the sixth wedding this year. Hmmm!

Looks like I will avoid this wedding oo...yes nau! Na so so people asoebi person go dey buy?

Felix cannot even decide to end this humiliation, because he has a Wife, I'm just the other woman with no chance of being permanent! Hmmm.. but wait o! Maybe I can still eat my cake and have it back.. yes!!! It's time to change my story jor!

I can make this, my last bus stop! I can become Mrs Felix Osuba, Why not! Are you thinking what I'm thinking..hmmm!! Change of plan!

 THE DAY I MET HIM.(Part 8)

"Lanre, I really don't know what's happening, but you sound quite weird." I interrupted.

Lanre remained quiet for a moment, then he continued.

"Kelechi, we have been friends for so long, tell me you haven't felt anything for me, at some point." He said as he stared at me.

"Lanre, maybe I...

"You see? Maybe! Don't fight it! Let's give this a try..." Lanre exclaimed as he interrupted me.

Maybe I was just eager to return home so I decided to give a quick response.

"Lanre, there is no harm in giving a try, I don't see anything wrong with that anyway." I said. Immediately, there was a twinkle in his eyes as he stretched forward and held on to my hands, very warmly. 

  "Thanks for agreeing to be my woman, I know this is the beginning of a great relationship that would continue to blossom." Lanre expressed. Well, I wasn't so sure he understood my response within the right context, however I was too tired to debate anything.

  "I guess we can leave now?" I said.

"Yes, if you are ready?" Lanre replied.

  In few minutes, we were on the way, home. The entire event of the day left me quite exhausted and I was ready to retire to bed.

The night was quite cold,a so a cup of coffee wasn't such a bad idea.

I laid on my bed and sipped my coffee with so much  thoughts running through my mind. For all there is, I was yet to come to terms with the reality that stared at me.

   My thoughts were interrupted by the sudden buzz of my phone, then I realised it was a call from Charles! I received  the call.

"Hello beautiful." He said.

"Hello, Charles." I responded.

"Hey, are you okay?" He asked, as I could perceive he had his suspicions.

"Yes, I'm fine." I quickly responded.

"Just want say good night." Charles added.

"Thanks, Charles." I replied.

"Hopefully, we can have dinner this weekend." Charles continued.

  

At that moment, I became very silent.
