Manchester United overthrows Manchester City to sit at the top of the EPL table after yesterday's games were played.
The first match between Leeds United and Southampton was postponed due to some reasons but however, Manchester City did not fail to take on Aston Villa at the Etihad stadium. The citizens yet again extended their winning streak to six matches after seeing off Villa with a 2-0 win. Benardo Silva and Ikay Gundogan struck in the 79th and 90th minutes to send City back to the top of the EPL table.View pictures in App save up to 80% data.
On the other hand Manchester United played host to Fulham who lost against Chelsea in their last league encounter. However it was another day if defeat for them as United downed them to overthrow Manchester City on the premier league table. Ademola Lukman scored first in the 5th minute of the first half but only for the Red Devils to equalise through Edison Cavani and score another through Paul Pogba to ensure the match ended 2-1 in their favour.View pictures in App save up to 80% data.

Super Eagles former goalkeeper trainer and assistant coach Joe Erico has died at 72.

Erico, nicknamed ‘Jogobonito exponent’, passed away on Tuesday morning in Lagos surrounded by his family, after a brief illness.

Confirming this development, a close family member Tomiwa Aghedo, said the country’s coaching icon had died after complaining of stomach ache.
“I feel sad informing you that coach Joe Erico passed on this morning [Tuesday],” Aghedo told Goal.
“He complained of stomach ache yesterday and he was subsequently rushed to the hospital, where he was told to present his Covid-19 test result before he would be attended to.
“Coach Erico went for the test as directed and very early this morning he passed away. It’s terrible news at this point in time and everyone of us is devastated.
“We are consoled by the fact that he served Nigeria with all his strength and he lived a good life worthy of emulation.” Goal
