The 21-year-old leaves after making 35 appearances in all competitions for the Red Devils, but without ever nailing down a regular first-team place.
AC Milanhave completed the signing of Diogo Dalot on loan from Manchester United. The 21-year-old full-back joined the Red Devils from Portoin 2018 in a deal worth £19 million ($24m) but he has been unable to seal a regular place in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's team, making 35 appearances and scoring just one goal in all competitions. Hailed by then-United boss Jose Mourinho as "the best full-back in Europe" in his age group after completing the move to England, the PortugalUnder 21 international struggled to get going at Old Trafford but reiterated his desire to succeed at the club in June, *He said: "It feels good to start feeling confident again and feeling comfortable with my fitness. I'm going to push hard and make sure that I deserve to play here. That's why I signed to come here. I want to be the best right-back that I can be at Manchester United. "They [injuries] are experiences that I need to live. It's football and you need to be ready for this kind of challenge. Of course I was young when all this happened but in my mind, I am always trying to be positive and in the future, I'll be strong, physically and mentally. "I think I have the ability to play at right-back at this club and I need to show that, *Dalot has played just once for United this term, having featured in the 3-0 win against Brightonin the Carabao Cupon Wednesday. He travelled to Italyon Saturday to undergo a medical in Milan before putting ink to a temporary deal. Cristiano Ronaldo Told "Don't Be Arrogant" As Italian Sports Minister Escalates
~1.4 mins read
Cristiano Ronaldo has been told not to be “arrogant†or “disrespectful†by the Italian Minister of Sport, Vincenzo Spadafora.
Juventus superstar Ronaldo has found himself in a war of words with Spadafora after testing positive for Covid-19 whilst on international duty with Portugal.
Spadafora accused the former Manchester United and Real Madrid forward of violating health protocol.
Ronaldo has since fired back, calling the accusations “liesâ€, and insisting he has not come into contact with anyone since returning to Turin to self-isolate.
However, Spadafora doesn’t appear to be finished with the argument yet, and issued some words of warning for Ronaldo.
The skills of a certain player don’t authorise them to be arrogant, disrespectful to the institutions and to lie,†he told ANSA.
“Indeed, the more one is known, the more one should feel the responsibility to think before one speaks and to set a good example.
“I have no intention of continuing indefinitely on this issue. I confirm what I said yesterday regarding the abandonment of the hotel by some Juventus players, based among other things on the club’s communications to the Turin ASL.
“I will not intervene more on the topic and I renew my wishes for a speedy recovery to all who have tested positive."
Responding to Spadafora’s initial comments, Ronaldo said in a video on Instagram this week: “I did not break it, as has been said: ‘It’s a lie.’
“I returned from Portugal because my team and I made sure to comply with all the procedures.
“I returned to Italy by air ambulance and I have had no contact with anyone, even in Turin.â€
It's thought that Spadafora made the comments as the Juventus side were isolating while Ronaldo travelled to join the Portugal set up, rather than his actions upon returning to Italy.
