COVID-19: Six Chelsea Players Test Positive

Chelsea's start to the 2020/21 season might not be what was highly anticipated as the club have confirmed that six of their players have tested positive for the novel coronavirus disease.
The club's 2019/20 campaign ended after they were eliminated from the champions league round of 16 stage by FC Bayern Munich and some players spent their holiday in different countries despite the global pandemic.
A number of Chelsea FC players have gone into quarantine following the development and the names of those who have contracted the virus are yet to be revealed.
The 2020/21 premier league season is due to start on Saturday, September 12th and Chelsea would begin their campaign away to Brighton.

CBC/Radio-Canada Partner With Twitter To Promote Tokyo 2020 And Beijing 2022 Content

CBC/Radio-Canada has announced a partnership with Twitter Canada which will see the public broadcaster's tweets for the next two Olympic Games promoted.
The agreement will cover the rescheduled Tokyo 2020 Olympics next year, as well as the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games.

say the agreement will promote their content, including live streams
and clips from the Games, to a wider audience in Canada, benefiting from
the use of Twitter Amplify.
The broadcaster has used Twitter Amplify since the Rio 2016 Olympic Games to help promote clips and live streams.
"We're
thrilled to continue working with Twitter Canada through this new
two-Games partnership that will provide Canadians with more
opportunities to access CBC/Radio-Canada's exciting coverage of the Olympic Games," said Joe Gottfried, CBC/Radio-Canada's media solutions director of sales and marketing for sports and the Olympics.
"With
the Tokyo and Beijing Games scheduled only six months apart, our
partner brands will have unique opportunities to create a continuous and
lasting impact, and connect with an engaged audience around touchstone
cultural moments."
The Twitter Amplify programme will reportedly expand the reach of CBC/Radio-Canada’s coverage through ad-supported promoted tweets.
The promoted tweets will target users outside of those already following CBC/Radio-Canada’s dedicated Olympic Games accounts, @CBCOlympics and @RC_Sports.

The
broadcaster added that the availability on Twitter of streams featuring
five top-tier Olympic Games events will be one of the highlights of the
agreement.
The streams will allow Canadians online to stay
connected to Olympic Games coverage and the many defining moments of the
Games, it is hoped.
CBC/Radio-Canada were the only official Pyeongchang 2018 broadcaster able to live-stream events from the Games on Twitter.
"CBC
has been an incredible partner for Twitter during the last two Olympic
Games and we look forward to building on those successes with a new
selection of premium content opportunities in the months ahead," said
Conor Clarance, head of sports at Twitter Canada.
The rescheduled Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games are due to take place from July 23 to August 8 next year.
It follows the postponement of this year's Games because of the coronavirus pandemic.
The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics are scheduled for February 4 to 20 in 2022.
