EPL: Rudiger to receive £400,000-a-week offer to leave Chelsea
Chelsea defender, Antonio Rudiger, is set to become one of the highest-paid defenders ever with a £400,000-per-week deal abroad, the UK Mirror reports.The 28-year-old is out of contract at the end of this season.Bayern Munich and Juventus, who have a reputation for snapping up top-class players on free transfers, are both keen on his services.The two clubs are understood to have a huge pay packet waiting once negotiations with foreign clubs begin in January.Rudiger is keeping his options open after being offered a new contract by Chelsea worth just £130,000-a-week.Striker Romelu Lukaku, the same age as the German centre-back, is currently being paid £350,000-a-week.After helping Chelsea lift the Champions League trophy with the best defence in the competition, the club offered the deal to his representatives with a deadline of the end of the summer to agree.Rudiger’s camp stood their ground and are now ready to listen to offers directly from rival European clubs.

Manchester City owner, Sheikh Mansour, has issued a “mandate” to sign Kylian Mbappe from Paris Saint-Germain “at any cost”, SportsMail reports.Mansour wants Mbappe to join the Premier League champions as early as January.The France forward, who has one year left on his current deal, almost moved to Real Madrid this summer.Madrid failed with two bids for the 22-year-old before the summer transfer window closed on August 31.PSG stand to lose Mbappe who they signed on a permanent basis for £166m in 2018 for nothing next summer.However, City might be willing to stump up a fee during the winter transfer market.Guardiola wanted to bring in Tottenham striker, Harry Kane this summer, but the club was not ready to meet Spurs’ £150m asking price for the England captain.
