Ronaldo Equals Josef Bican's Record As Joint Topscorer In Football History

After scoring Juventus' third goal in the match against Sassuolo on Sunday, Cristiano Ronaldo became the joint top scorer for official goals in football history.
Cristiano Ronaldo scored the third goal in Juventus' 3-1 win over Sassuolo on Sunday and with that he became the joint-highest scorer for club and country in the history of the game. With 759 career goals, Ronaldo equalled Josef Bican, the Austrian-Czech striker who played between 1931 and 1955. In the first week of the year, the Portuguese icon edged past former Brazilian great Pele’s record of 757 official goals. Ronaldo’s long-time rival Lionel Messi is at the fifth spot.
The 34-year-old is now on the brink of arguably his proudest achievement to date. He needs just one more goal to become the highest-scoring player ever.
One of the lovely thing about the goal he scored was how he chose to silent some critics who were already jubilating till the last minute that Ronaldo wouldn’t equal the all time goal record of Josep Bican.
Just before the final whistle, Ronaldo solemnly controlled the long lobbed ball by Danillo at the right flank of the pitch, made three steady running touches on the ball and slotted the ball pass the Sassuolo goalie at the 91st minute.
That was how they all kept shut with their jubilation muted yesterday.

West Ham Appoint An Ex-Porn Star To Their Board

West Ham have appointed Eve Vorley, a director of X-rated films such as 'Lesbian Student Nurses' and 'Hot Housewives on the Job', to their board.
Vorley, whose real name is Emma Benton-Hughes, is the partner of West Ham's co-chairman David Sullivan and has been pictured at the London Stadium watching the Hammers in action on numerous occasions.
Now, she is stepping up into the day-to-day running of the club who are currently 10th in the Premier League standings.
The 55-year-old Vorley was a Page 3 girl and directed a number of adult films in the late 90s and early 2000s.
The adult entertainment industry is where her partner Sullivan has made his money - in the Sunday Times richlist, Sullivan's estimated wealth came in it £1.15billion.
Vorley has been appointed a director at West Ham, alongside Sullivan's son Dave. Sullivan's other son, Jack, is currently the managing director of West Ham's women's team.
Sullivan, alongside David Gold and Karren Brady, oversaw a takeover of West Ham back in 2010 and in that time have facilitated the controversial move from Upton Park to the London stadium.
The switch has yet to usher in the era of success that Gold and Sullivan were hopeful of but West Ham have had an encouraging season so far under the guidance of David Moyes.
While they are currently sat in mid-table, they are only three points off fourth place, which is occupied by their London rivals Tottenham on 29 points.
West Ham are next in action on Saturday, when they host Burnley at the London Stadium.
