Opinion: What The Coach Did To Ighalo In MAN UTD's Match Against PSG Is Annoying

I'm sure if you are a Nigerian and a Manchester United fan at the same time, you will not be happy with what the coach did to Ighalo yesterday.

During the match between Manchester United and PSG, the coach decided to bring on Ighalo when it was just three minutes to the end of the match. This is totally uncalled for and disrespectful, considering the fact that this is Ighalo's debut Champions League appearance. Who does that? why will you wait till 3 minutes to go before giving him a chance to make his debuy? He could have just left him on the bench without bringing him on at all.
Some Manchester united players had a bad game, especially Anthony Martial. He could have subbed off Anthony martial and replaced him with Ighalo, making it a double striking force which would have increased the pressure on the PSG defence. But I don't know why the coach doesn't have trust on Ighalo. Just imagine Anthony Martial losing this clear chance that was so close.
I think the disrespect for Ighalo in Manchester United is enough, and I think he made a big mistake by deciding to join them after that six-month loan. He should have gone back to China. Now if his contract with Manchester United expires, I doubt if he's going to see any club that is going to be willing to pay him high enough to play for them again.
What are your thoughts about Ighalo's situation in Manchester United, why do you think he is not being used? Please drop a comment below.
