According to Wikipedia, The South American section of the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualification acts as qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA World Cup , to be held in Qatar, for national teams which are members of the South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL). A total of 4.5 slots (4 direct slots and 1 inter-confederation play-off slot) in the final tournament are available for CONMEBOL teams.

Hakim Ziyech has been pulled out of Morocco National team following chelsea's agreement between the Moroccan football federation.

The former Ajax Midfielder suffered from a knee Injury against Brighton in a pre–season friendly game in August, and has not yet made his Chelsea debut in the premier league since his arrival.

Hakim Ziyech was allowed by Chelsea to join up with Morocco National team this week, and the Midfielder recovered from injury to feature for 31 minutes against Senegal in a friendly game which ended 3–1 in victory of Morocco on Friday evening.
The Chelsea new player delivered a impressive second half cameo in Rabat and worked out an excellent assist for Morocco's third goal.
But according to [RMFF], Royal Morocco football federation, it was Confirmed that Hakim Ziyech has been withdrawn from the squad ahead of their friendly game against DR congo on Tuesday.
The Morocco federation confirmed that Chelsea were keen on Hakim to be given some playing time during the international break to help build his fitness.
But chelsea's medical staff also reached an agreement with Morocco that they will allow Ziyech to return to England after he featured in the friendly game against Senegal.
Ziyech could now be in line to make his chelsea debut against Southampton on Saturday in the premier league.
Meanwhile, chelsea are assessing the fitness of Edouard Mendy after the Senegalese goalkeeper was forced to withdraw from Senegal's squad due to injury earlier on.
The 28–years–old goalkeeper pulled out of a training session on Wednesday and has now return to England for test on his thigh.
