Lagos State:

This is the second richest state in Nigeria after Lagos, Rivers state which its capital is Port -Harcourt is the second-largest oil-producing state in Nigeria with a GDP of $21,073 billion.

Delta State:

Delta state is positioned in the South-South geopolitical zone. With Asaba as its capital city. oil and agriculture are their main source of income. They have a GDP of $16,749 billion.

Oyo State:

Oyo state is the largest state in the south-western zone of Nigeria, it's capital Ibadan is the biggest city in Nigeria. Farming is the main occupation of people in Oyo state. Their current GDP is $16,121 billion.

Imo State:

Imo state is the richest state in the South-Eastern geopolitical zone of Nigeria. Owerri is its capital and among the largest towns in the state. Agriculture and oil is the primary source of income in this kingdom. They have a GDP of $14,212 billion.

Kano state:

Kano is well-known for its traditional arts and crafts including weaving. Kano is the capital of Kano state from North-Western Nigeria. Kano state has a GDP of $12,393 billion.

Edo State:

Edo state is one of the lucky states to be an oil-producing state. Benin city the State capital is famous for its unique bronze and brass. Edo state is located in the south southern part of Nigeria with a GDP of $11,888 billion.

Akwa Ibom is currently the highest oil and gas-producing state in the country with an approximate production of 800, 000 barrels per day. The state is located in the coastal Southern part of the country with a total GDP of $11,179 billion.
