Pastor Chris Oyakhilome Says People Who Criticize Clerics Are Cursed Already
~1.7 mins read
People who are fond of criticizing clerics such as pastors and other ministers of God are cursed.
This is the position of Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, the founder and president of LoveWorld Incorporated, also known as Christ Embassy.
The Cable reports that the popular cleric made his position known during Christ Embassy's cross over service on Thursday, December 31.
Pastor Chris said it is not the place of anyone to accuse ministers or criticize clerics and he quoted a Bible verse to back up his claim.

The pastor said:
“I usually tell those in my ministry, don’t criticise God’s people, especially the ministers of God. Leave them alone for the Bible says ‘whatever they do, they do them unto the Lord."
“You’re not the one to accuse another man’s servant. Don’t join anybody to criticise other ministers. I tell my family members the same thing. Leave them alone because there are curses against those who do so.
According to him, if someone goes ahead to criticize or lay accusations against pastors, such a person would suffer dire consequences.

He further argued that it is ignorance for anyone to criticize clerics or ministers of God as they are popularly called in Nigeria.
He added:
“If you do, you find out sickness won’t leave your home, there would always be one terrible thing about your family. So, don’t join those who do that, they are ignorant.â€

Kukah To FG: Settle Out Of Court With Nnamdi Kanu Now
~1.0 mins read
The Bishop of Sokoto Catholic Diocese, Matthew Kukah has charged the Federal Government of Nigeria to settle out of Court with leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu.
Kukah added that the violence erupting the Southeast region of Nigeria could be nipped in the bud by the Federal Government and Southeast leaders. The fiery bishop, in an interview with BBC News Pidgin, stated that the violence in Southeast was avoidable.
According to Kukah, the sit-at-home tactics adopted by IPOB would not solve the situation, as it would further entrenched poverty in the region. He asked the people in the Southeast to learn from what is happening in the north and decide if that was what they wanted.
“You told people to sit at home and they must eat. You told people not to do things, but what is their reward? The something is that when it entered a situation when brothers kill brothers everyday, it means the people are not using their head,” he said.
Kukah said agitation was not a bad thing, but that he did not under the kind of agitation by IPOB, saying that the best thing they should have done was to join politics and vote their people into power to fight their matter.
