Opinion: "Religion" The Number One Cause Of Africa's Problem

 

Good day my African brother's and sisters, and my fellows in all part of the world, and also to the entire human race.

 

I'm about to share an interesting article which doesn't only concern the black race but also the human race. Because for so many decades, this one thing called religion has been Africa's number one reason of the problems we are having today which details i am going to share.

 

Note, this article is just my own personal opinion which I deemed it fit to share to all of us.

How has religion been Africa's problem and how has it affected it as a continent. It has affected Africa in so many ways, which are in terms of development, health, our custom and tradition, and so many other things, but I am going to start first on how it has affected the development of Africa.

 

In terms of development, look at Africa today, we have a lot of churches, mosque, and other religions centers, and it shocks me that the biggest churches are located in Africa, where as those money we use in building all those big churches and mosque, why don't we use them and build industries, factories and infrastructure development, so that we can employ our unemployed youths and strengthen our economy. Look at at the western world's today, they don't have much religions centers, what they focus on building are industries and factories to help the growth of their economy  in their countries yet, they are developed more than us that have religions centers here and there.

 

In the aspect of health, long before the whites came to Africa, brought in civilization, we were already civilized, because civilization started in Eygpt and not from Greece. Before the whites came we had our own traditional and herbal medicine which helped speed up recovery of illness and sickness, but today we prefer having faith in the God we can't see come down and heal us leaving all of our herbal drugs aside and dying untimely, that's what religion has caused too.

 

Lastly which is our custom and tradition, religion have made us to forsake the old ways of our ancestors and now we worship a foreign God, imagine if we carry out some rites for our native gods that our forefathers served then, the so called religions men and women see us as bad people, were as they are the ones that kill or plan evil for their fellow, and their, heads in different religious group do evil this days which we see and hear in the medias today.

 

I'm summary I will urge everyone of us to forget about our differences in religion and focus on building our mother land Africa.
