TWO PILLARS IN BUILDING A GODLY OPPOSITE SEX RELATIONSHIP 

A godly relationship is one that has God at the center. It's a relationship that is built according to the pattern of God's kingdom as revealed in the word of God.

It does not mean that you will not face struggles or temptations in your relationship with the opposite sex, you sure will but you have decided to live by God's word, not by your emotions because you have Jesus Christ as Lord of your life and the Holy Spirit is always in you to guide you into all truths.

The Two pillars in building a Goldy Relationship Are:

1. Prayer:

 To build a godly relationship with the opposite sex you must pray, the bible says we should pray so that we don't fall into temptation which means that if we don't pray we will fall into temptation.

What are you to pray about?

Pray for the grace to walk in wisdom and righteousness. Pray that you will both walk in the will of God for your lives, etc.

2. The Word of God:

The word of God should be the final authority in your relationship with the opposite sex, not the world system or your emotions. The word of God will renew your mind so you can honor God in your relationships.

To fulfil the purpose of God for your life, there are certain relationships and aspects of life you should not give up on. 

No matter the mountain before you please don't let go of the following, because they are your backbone especially in trying times.

1. Your relationship with God — Your success and fulfillment in life depends on Him.

2. Don’t give up on your family —  Family is the only relationship apart from God you can rely on in tough situations.  You can trust your family with anything and have them when you have nothing else. 

Others will desert you but your family will stick with you. 

I am not only talking about your biological family but also your spiritual family. 

3. Don’t give up on your assignment —   Fulfilling your God given assignment will make you live a meaningful life that glorifies God. 

If you loose your relationship with your assignment, there is nothing you are living for. 

4. Don’t give up on your dreams —Your dreams are the reality of your potentials. 

You can only maximize your potentials when you have a dream. 

Potentials are the tools you use to make your dreams a reality. 

5. Don’t give up on love — Being loved and loving people makes life beautiful. 

Choose to be a lover of people.
