Gone are days were women get their ways or what they want for just being a woman or a married one. Nowadays, as a woman you should have something unique about you that makes you different from your peers. After marriage, things can take a turn for better or worse and you will find these things useful, be known for what you can do and not what you can't do, marriage also requires alot of compromise and hardwork.

1. Learn how to drive: before getting married, every woman should learn how to drive, learning how to drive gives you so many advantages as a woman, you can go anywhere without waiting for someone to take you in case of emergencies.

After getting married things can take a turn making learning the least of your problems, you also have more chances of getting a car from your husband or if he cant, you can always share his. If you don't learn it now, you might never get the chance to do so in the future.

2. Learn a skill: skill can be defined as the capacity to do something well; techniques, ability. These skills can range from baking, fashion designing, to technology skills, health stuff or even how to take care of your husband a skill can never be useless and can always come handy in the future.

3. Learn how to make money: As they say, money is security, and having something of your own, no matter how little can save you from any form of abuse. Men no longer want to be the sole bread winner in the house and you can't get everything you want from them.

4. Know how to manage save money: when you have money and don't know how to manage and save it as a women, then there is a disaster waiting to happen.

5. Reduce your friends: marriage requires compromise and hardwork, and having so many friends to keep up with can get into the way of your marriage. (for example; 'I cant be with you dear, i have to meet up with some friend's party wedding') etc just keep or filter the responsible and important ones.
