WHAT TO DISCUSS DURING COURTSHIP (PART 2)

One of the ways you can archive a good courtship is through appropriate questioning and open discussion with your partner. 

Do two walk together unless they have agreed to do so? Amos 3:3 (NIV)

In continuation of the part one, below are other issues to talk about during courtship period. 

The basic responsibility of each other; what are the wife or husband roles/duty in the family. 

How many children do you wish to have? Birth control or as God grants? What kind of education or training do both of you desire to give to your children? 

What are the roles of the in-laws? When any of us don't agree with in-laws, how do we go about it? Do we live together with in-laws?

In resolving conflicts, do we always seek counseling from others?

Ask about your past, it is very important you don't keep your partner in the dark about your past. 

All these may be regarded as nothing initial by some, but can cause problems in marriage, hence it's important you don't neglect anything that borders you concerning your potential spouse life.

What are those lingering issues you need to address in your relationship? 

*PRAYER:* 

Help me Lord to make good use of my courtship periods. 

*CONFESSION:* 

I will not keep my fiancé or fiancée in darkness, but open up appropriately and sincerely to him/her in love for the betterment of our marriage.

SPOIL YOUR HUSBAND, HE IS TOTALLY YOURS!

My dear married sister. There is no happiness in this world than being married with a pious partner. Always say thank you Lord for such a darling husband God has blessed you with.

Appreciate your man's effort. Thank him for making you a wife. Thank him for making you the queen of his empire.

Tell him you love him.

Tell him he is your happiness .

Tell him he is your king.

He deserves your prayers. So, pray for him.

He needs your love and care. So shower it on him. 

He needs your companionship. So be there for him. 

He needs your warm hug. Please, don't be stingy with it.

Do not forget to wake him up for prayers.

Do not forget to cook his favourite dishes for him.

Do not forget to dress him up as you used to when you were newly married.

Do not forget to satisfy him as ordained and instructed.

And do not forget that he is a human being who is bound to make

mistakes.

So forgive him unconditionally and wholeheartedly.

BE MINDFUL THERE IS NO PERFECT MARRIAGE!
