How To Make DIY Body Cream
~1.9 mins read
Cream is something we use everyday because it helps in moisturising the skin. People buy creams everyday and sometimes, the one we really want to buy might be cost. Did you know that you can make your own cream at the comfort of your home? You can do it if you have the right ingredients and a littletime to spare for it. Another disadvantage of buying these modern creams is that they may contain some harmful chemicals you might not know. First of all, I'll list the materials needed before we proceed into the procedures.
1 cup of organic shea butter
2 tbs of essential oils
2 ounces of extra virgin olive oil
2 tbs of vegetable glycerin
1 cup of coconut oil
2 tbs of vitamin E
Step 1
Step 2
Add your coconut oil to the blended. Use the same cup you need in measuring the Shea butter to measure the coconut oil. The coconut oil should be 1 cup to avoid adding excess oil to the lotion.
Step 3
Add your vegetable glycerin and vitamin E to the mixture. Your vegetable glycerin should be 2 tablespoons, while your vitamin E should also be 2 tablespoons.
Step 4
Add your olive oil to the mixture. You can add any amount of olive oil depending on bow you want it, for me, I add 2 ounces but you can put more. you can also substitute olive oil with avocado oil, it's also good.
Step 5
Turn on your blender and blend the mixture. Occasionally stop your blender to check if it is smooth and to also check if it's okay. Blend it until you feel the thickness is okay. Normally, it should take around 1 - 2 minutes depending on the thickness of your cream.
Step 6
Transfer your lotion from the blender to a container, make sure the container you are transferring it to is an airtight container. You can use a plastic bottle or a glass container, they work superb.
Step 6
Consume your cream or lotion within 18 months or 1½years for better results.
Step 7
Your cream or lotion us now ready, you can keep it for personal use or for sale.
