Meet The Gorgon (Medusa)
~0.3 mins read
The Gorgon is one of a race of creatures with origins in Greek mythology, legend and folklore. The term 'Gorgon' itself is derived from the Greek 'gorgo', meaning 'grim', 'fierce' or 'terrible'. The Gorgons were horrifyingly ugly monsters who lived at the edge of the world. Their hair was made of serpents, and one look from a Gorgon's eyes would turn a man to stone. Perseus killed the Gorgon Medusa by beheading her while looking only at her reflection.

Animal With 9 Brains
~0.7 mins read
Isn't nature beautiful? It is filled with so much wonders an so much things that we humans haven't been able to discover all. But we have discovered an animal with multiple vital organs. It's an Octopuses. Octopuses are boneless creatures. They are invertebrates with very flexible bodies that can squeeze through the thinest of spaces. An octopus has three hearts, nine brains, and blue blood. Two hearts pump blood to the gills, while the third one acts as the main heart and circulates oxygenated blood the rest of the body. The nervous system includes a central brain and a large ganglion at the base of each arm which controls movement. Octopus blood contains the copper-rich protein hemocyanin, which is more efficient than hemoglobin for oxygen transport at very low temperatures and low oxygen concentrations which suits it's environment well, it is also this copper compound that gives it's blood it's characteristics blue coloration. Octopus, are classified under the phylum cephalopods with squid, cuttlefish basically all multiple legged sea mollusks
